🔋 Water & Energy Use: Help conserve by reusing towels, taking shorter showers, and turning off unused lights, A/C, or heat. Report any leaks.
🚬 No Smoking: Smoking is prohibited indoors and within 25 feet of the house. Dispose of smoking materials properly if outside.
🔥 Fire Safety: No outdoor fires May–Nov. Fireworks are illegal in Mariposa County. Outdoor extinguisher is near the BBQ.
Parking: Use the driveway only. No road parking during snow removal alerts (per County Code 10.08.110).
No Firearms or Off-Roading: Both are strictly prohibited and may result in neighbors calling authorities.
Trash: Keep trash indoors at all times (for bear safety). Overflow bin is beside the outdoor shed.
Checkout: Check out by 10:00 a.m. Contact us a day or more in advance for possible late checkout. Cleaners arrive at 10:00 sharp.
🐇 Wildlife & pests: This home is in a natural, wooded setting. Seeing an occasional insect, spider, mouse or other native animal is normal and is not grounds for a refund. Please report any significant or unusual pest activity during your stay so we can fix it. Issues raised only after check-out are not eligible for compensation. Keep doors closed and food sealed.
Be Considerate: This is a peaceful residential area — please treat the home, land, and community with care and respect.
