About Property

Discover the serene beauty of Kangaroo Lake at Carraigeen Cottage, a new and inviting retreat perfectly positioned on the shores of Baileys Harbor, Wisconsin. This charming getaway offers a peaceful escape where guests can immerse themselves in the natural splendor of the lakeside environment and enjoy breathtaking, gorgeous sunsets from the comfort of their own private sanctuary.

Designed for comfort and versatility, the cottage features a layout with 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. The sleeping arrangements include 2 beds, specifically 4 queen pillow top beds, making the space ideal for one or two families or a close-knit group of friends. While the property can accommodate up to 8 guests, please note that the cottage is 700 square feet and is best suited for smaller groups rather than 8 adults.

Inside, you will find a fully equipped modern kitchen that blends style and functionality, featuring elegant granite countertops and new stainless steel appliances, including a full-sized dishwasher, full stove, and a large refrigerator. For added convenience, the home also includes a new washer and dryer.

Outdoor living is a highlight of the Carraigeen experience. The exterior is outfitted with a BBQ and picnic-style tables, along with several chairs for relaxing by the water. For those arriving by water, there is a dedicated spot for a boat at the dock. Guests are welcome to bring their own boats, which can be launched at the Baileys Harbor boat launch on Kangaroo Lake Road (a $10 honor-system launch fee applies).

Located in a prime area for outdoor enthusiasts, the cottage is a great base for fishing, biking, hiking, and canoeing. Children will especially love swimming and paddling in the warm waters of Kangaroo Lake. Additionally, you are only a few minutes away from the downtown amenities of Baileys Harbor and Egg Harbor, where you can explore local shops, restaurants, galleries, cafes, the marina, and the beach.
