Designed for groups and families, the home features 3 bedrooms, 3 beds, and 4 bathrooms, comfortably accommodating up to 12 guests. The main level boasts an open floor plan starting with a foyer that leads into a big, fully equipped kitchen with ample counter space and an eat-in bar. The adjacent living area is perfect for relaxing, featuring two pull-out couches, a recliner, a gas-log fireplace with a mounted flatscreen satellite TV, and a large bank of windows overlooking the river and mountains. The first bedroom with a king bed and the second bedroom with a full-size bed share a convenient Jack and Jill bathroom. A half-bath and laundry area are also located on this level.

Descending to the lower level, you will find an oversized third bedroom containing one full bed and two twin beds. This level also includes a second smaller kitchen, a full bath, a second half-bath, and a cozy sitting area complete with a futon, card table, and a second TV with a DVD player.

Step outside to enjoy the fresh mountain air. The property features a small covered entrance porch and two river-side decks: a large open upper deck with a gas grill and a covered lower deck. The expansive, mostly flat lawn—spanning nearly an acre—is ideal for a cookout or tossing around a football.

Located on the east side of the High Country, you are just 10 minutes from the Blue Ridge Parkway, allowing you to avoid town traffic when arriving from the east. You are also a 20-minute drive from Boone and Appalachian State University, as well as West Jefferson, known for its cool art galleries and the unique Ashe County Cheese Factory. Nearby attractions include popular local Farmer's Markets and several state parks, including Grandfather Mountain, Mt. Jefferson, Elk Knob, and the New River.
