By accepting these terms and conditions, the guest waives, releases and agrees to release the owner from any damages, accidents or injuries that may occur during the stay, which may be related to or result from the stay in the property, for the guest as well as for all visitors and persons directly or indirectly associated with the guest present during the stay. The customer is responsible for any damage to the property that occurred during your stay.

For security and safety purposes, our property is equipped with a single outdoor camera pointed only at the exterior entrance door.

Rules

1. The guest agrees to comply with all local rules, regulations and laws.

2. The guest must behave in a respectful manner and demonstrate good neighborliness by respecting the rights and tranquility of the surrounding owners. In the event of a complaint, a penalty of CAD 500 will be imposed.

3. Between 10:00 p.m. and 8:00 a.m., we ask you to turn off the music and reduce the noise outside, noises likely to disturb the peace and well-being of the neighborhood are prohibited under penalty of fine and termination of contract.

4. Before using the hot tub, a shower is mandatory to remove all oils, lotions, creams, make-up and anti-mosquito products. Water must be kept clean and free of bubbles or foam to avoid a CAD 200 surcharge for drainage, cleaning and filling.

5. The property is non-smoking, inside and outside, including on the terraces and grounds. This includes: cigarette, cigar, cigarillo, vape, hookah, cannabis, etc. In the event of a breach or smell, an automatic penalty of CAD 200 will be imposed.

6. Only outdoor campfires are allowed in the designated area. In addition, no other materials than firewood should be used. For use of the indoor fireplace, add only DURAFLAMME logs, firewood and no other materials.

7. The guest agrees not to use the property for commercial purposes or to sublet the property.

8. Parking is limited to the parking area in front of the property with a maximum capacity of FOUR (4) vehicles. Do not park on the street, as you may be towed at your own expense.

9. If the guest or a member of their group exceeds the prescribed departure time, they must pay $50 for every 30 minutes of delay. If the delay is more than two hours, you will be charged a night without being able to stay.

10. No motorboats are allowed on the property or on the lake during your stay in order to respect the quiet of the neighborhood. Paddle boats, canoes, paddle boats, sailboats, and windsurfers are allowed.

11. Do not walk on the 2nd floor outdoor balcony. It is decorative and not safe for walking.

12. The maximum capacity in the cottage is 4 adults, in addition to children. If you wish to stay with more than 4 adults, please contact us in advance. Otherwise, an additional fee of $50 per adult per night may apply.

13. Any violation of these rules by the guest or by a member of their group will be grounds for immediate termination of this rental agreement without the possibility of a refund, and the owner cannot be held responsible for any resulting damage.
