Designed to be relaxed and welcoming, the home accommodates up to 4 guests across 2 bedrooms and 1 bathroom. The interior features carefully sourced vintage and antique furniture, including a sitting room with exposed beams and a red stove in the fireplace. High-tech convenience is blended with cozy charm, as a smart TV is cleverly disguised as a picture above the fireplace. The well-equipped rhubarb pink kitchen reflects Sarah’s professional chef background, featuring a marble-topped pantry and a little garden room overlooking the river Arun.

Sleeping arrangements are split to provide a unique experience. The sweet master bedroom, accessible via a narrow and steep original cottage staircase, features William Morris design and a king size bed with luxury duvets. The second hideaway bedroom is a charming, wood-panelled studio located in the original bakehouse, situated across the Twitten in the gated garden. This separate space includes a raised king size bed, underfloor heating, and a private cloakroom with a sink.

Both rooms are served by a generous bathroom finished with reclaimed panelling and handmade Moroccan tiles, offering both a freestanding bath and a separate shower.

Outside, guests can enjoy a south facing cottage garden filled with herbs and flowers, providing a serene space for BBQ dining or stargazing under the Dark Sky Reserve of the nearby national park.
