Discover the awe-inspiring allure of Black Door Bungalow, a sumptuous 4-bedroom vacation home located just one block from the majestic crystal sands of Lake Michigan in Lakeside, Michigan. Once a local retail gathering place in 1928, this stunning residential retreat has been fully refurbished to blend historic character with high-end luxury.

The home features a thoughtful layout designed for relaxation and connection. The ground floor hosts three bedrooms and two bathrooms, while the second floor offers a charming sleeping loft perfect for children, complete with cute bunk beds and a mini teepee.

Sleeping Arrangements:

• Primary Bedroom: 1 King bed
• Bedroom 2: 1 Queen bed
• Bedroom 3: 1 Queen bed
• Bedroom 4 (Loft): Full-over-full bunk bed (sleeps 4)

The heart of the home is a massive, superbly well-lit open area comprising the kitchen, dining, and living spaces, all framed by entire walls of French windows and original glass-block. This space is anchored by a white marble island with chic stools, a 10-seat reclaimed wood dining table, and a beautifully lit living room centering on a classic stone fireplace with stylish, ultra-comfortable couches and a wide-screen TV. The interior is defined by gorgeous reclaimed flooring from antique beams, custom doors, and top-of-the-line plumbing fixtures.

Beyond the main house, a detached garage has been transformed into a posh game room featuring high-end shuffleboard and foosball tables, a big-screen TV, and a sound system. The outdoor living space is equally impressive, with a spacious covered patio featuring a cozy rattan couch and a bluestone courtyard surrounded by lush plantings and professional lighting.

Situated in "Harbor Country," you are a super-short drive from Pier Street Beach and Cherry Beach, and adjacent to Warren Woods State Park for hiking and biking. The area's largest recreational harbor offers everything from jet-ski rentals to evening cruises. Explore the nearby Acorn Theater, award-winning distilleries, breweries, and the boutique shops of Union Pier and downtown New Buffalo.
