About Property

Discover the timeless appeal of Uptown Oklahoma City at this charming 1917 bungalow. Perfectly positioned on a corner lot, this home blends early 20th-century character with modern conveniences, offering a cozy retreat for those who appreciate original charm over flawless renovation.

The home is configured with 2 bedrooms and 2 beds, accommodating up to 6 guests. The sleeping arrangements include one bedroom with a queen bed and a second bedroom with a full bed, both sharing a Jack and Jill bathroom featuring a bath and shower. For those seeking a little extra space, there is a bonus loft equipped with a full bed, accessible via a library ladder. Please note that because the loft is difficult to regulate for temperature and may contain some dust, it is not listed as a formal bedroom.

Inside, you will find a variety of inviting spaces designed for relaxation. The main bedroom opens into a charming sunroom, perfect for enjoying your morning coffee. The living area is equipped with a TV and Apple TV, and the home features a well-appointed kitchen and bar area, a laundry room, and a half bath. Step outside to the expansive front porch or the fully fenced backyard, which is a great feature for guests traveling with pets.

Located in the heart of the Western Ave District, this home is within walking distance of fantastic bars, coffee shops, restaurants, pastry shops, boutiques, and brunch spots. You are perfectly placed to explore the city: only 1 mile from the Paseo Arts District, 1.5 miles from the Uptown 23rd District, 2.5 miles from the Plaza District, 3 miles from the Midtown District, and 4 miles from Downtown Oklahoma City.

As a century-old home, this property embraces its history. Guests should expect distressed wood floors with intentional creaks and cracks, as well as original single-pane windows that maintain the home's character but may allow some traffic noise from Western Ave and affect extreme thermostat settings.
