About Property

Discover the ultimate coastal escape at Coho Cabana by Homestead Hideaways, a waterfront paradise nestled in the tiny hamlet of Halibut Cove. Built in 2022 on four pristine acres at the edge of Kachemak Bay State Park, this custom-built off-grid home puts the water, wildlife, and mountains right outside your door. With the luxuries of civilization meeting the serenity of nature, you will quickly appreciate the peace that comes when no roads lead to your doorstep.

This seaside sanctuary is designed for those who want to get way out there without making it a sacrifice. The home features 3 bedrooms and 3 beds, comfortably accommodating 6 guests, with 1 bathroom.

Inside, the lower level welcomes you with a light-filled sitting area perfect for coffee and eagle watching. The heart of the home is a full chef's kitchen equipped with a gas range, dishwasher, farmhouse sink, and high-end coffee setup, complemented by a custom live-edge white spruce and black walnut dining table. For relaxation, a separate den offers a record player, games, and a cozy spot to disappear with a book. The bathroom is a true retreat, pairing a steam shower with custom white spruce details. Upstairs, the bedrooms are outfitted with Helix mattresses, cotton percale sheets, and blackout curtains to ensure a restful night's sleep despite Alaska's stubborn summer light. The main queen bedroom, known as the Eagle's Nest, overlooks Kachemak Bay.

Outside, the private deck is where plans loosen their grip. Whether grilling dinner or watching the evening light move across the mountains, it is the perfect vantage point for the surrounding wilderness.
