- No Pets are allowed. I love animals, and we know you love yours, but the wear and tear on the home is too much for us to absorb. Extra cleaning fees to remove odor and stains will be applied if a pet of any kind is brought to the home.
- Please be respectful of our neighbors in the community. “This property is equipped with a device that monitors noise levels (but does not record sound) and notifies the host (and guest in some cases) if it gets too loud.” There are many permanent residents in the community, and good neighborly courtesy by our guests is what allows us to continue to share our home.
- Respect the stated quiet hours and just be nice to the people you come across, whether at the pool, tennis courts, or hiking.
- We know accidents happen. Please report any accidental damage before checking out so that we can fix anything prior to the next guest’s arrival. If you break a dish, it happens; just let us know so we can order a new one.
- Please don’t accidentally (or intentionally) take any of the home contents with you, including but not limited to towels, sheets, dinnerware, etc.
- If guest-caused damage is not covered by our insurance, the cost will be billed to the guests.
- No smoking inside the home. Extra cleaning fees to remove odor and stains will be applied. If you do choose to smoke outside the home, please do not leave any evidence and do so with care to prevent fires.
- There is absolutely no hunting of any kind allowed on the property or in the Coolfont Mountainside Association.
No burning between the hours of 7am and 5pm. All fires must be attended at all times and completely extinguished at the end of the night. If your fire escapes you are liable for the cost of fighting the fire and any damages it causes. There is a state issued fine of $1000 for violating any of the above.
