Discover the ultimate island retreat at this peaceful lake cabin in Lakeside, Oregon, where you can create everlasting memories with your whole family in a secluded paradise. This unique getaway is accessible by boat only, offering a true escape from the mainland and a chance to immerse yourself in the quiet beauty of the lake.

This spacious cabin is designed to accommodate up to 8 guests. The sleeping arrangements include 3 bedrooms: two featuring queen size beds and one with a full size bed. Additionally, there is a queen size bed located in the loft. To ensure a comfortable stay, each bed is equipped with a 3" memory foam mattress topper. Please note that the staircase to the loft is narrow and steep, which may not be accessible for all guests. The home features 2 bathrooms to serve your party.

Enjoy a variety of leisure activities right from your doorstep. You can fish from the dock using the provided fishing poles, explore the water in the canoe or paddle boat, or simply relax on the deck to take in the scenery. As the cabin faces south, it receives full sun exposure, making it a perfect spot to watch amazing sunsets. In the evenings, gather around the Solo Stove fire pit to tell stories, though guests must keep flames controlled and use the provided screen. Inside, the great room features huge bay windows and a flat screen TV with a Blu-Ray player.

Located in the serene Blue Heron Bay, the property is a haven for bird watching and wildlife sightings, including a local family of deer that frequent the area. The cabin is just 5 minutes from Lakeside Marina, where guests can rent boats or utilize the lake taxi service. Be sure to visit McKay's in town for groceries and supplies before heading to the island.

• Access: BOAT ACCESS ONLY. Guests may use their own boat, rent from Lakeside Marina, or take a lake taxi.

• Water: The cabin uses a well system with filters; drinking water is provided via a separate filter in the kitchen.
• Septic: Only toilet paper may be flushed; additional charges apply for emergency plumbing services.
• Safety: Life jackets are required for children under 13 on or near the water.
• Fire Safety: Fire pit use is subject to local fire bans during summer months.
