Cabin Rules:
No Third Party Renters, primary renter must be at the property.
NO SMOKING, NO PETS
By confirming your booking you agree to adhere to the Rental Rules set forth in this listing, if you bring more guests than agreed upon by your reservation you will be asked to leave without a refund and/or charged an extra $125 per guest, per night. If there is evidence of a pet additional cleaning fees may apply.
Check in time is 4 pm and check out time is 10 am prompt. No late check-out or early check-in. If a guest does not vacate the property by 10 AM on their scheduled day of departure, the fee for failing to vacate is $50.00 dollars for the first half hour and $50.00 for each subsequent half hour that the guest fails to vacate the property.
Before you leave, we ask that the items below be completed:
- Leave any used beds unmade, we'll take care of them.
- Load all dishes into the dishwasher and start it.
The hot tub is ready for you and should be set between 100 to 104 degrees at all times.
Hot Tub Rules:
-No children under the age of 18 permitted in the hot tub without adult supervision.
-There is no lifeguard. Use at your own risk.
-No more than 5 people in the tub at one time.
-Please shower with soap before you enter.
-Do not enter if the temperature is above 104 F.
-Limit your soak to 15 minutes and cool off before re-entry.
-Do not bring glass in or near the hot tub.
-No jumping, diving, or horseplay.
BBQ USE /CHARCOAL SAFETY
For your convenience and use the following are provided: BBQ tools (located underneath the kitchen sink), and a coal/ash bucket (located on the front porch by the bench), coal is not provided.
All charcoal grills will get hot during use. Use extreme caution when operating the grill. Use at your own risk.
-Do not touch hot surfaces. Always use the handle to open or close the grill.
-Close supervision is necessary when this or any grill is used near children. Keep children away from the grill during operation and until the grill has cooled off.
• Never add lighter fluid to coals that are already hot and or warm.
• Never use gasoline, kerosene, or other highly volatile fluids as a starter due to the explosion hazard.
• Never use an electric starter in the rain or when standing on wet ground.
• When using instant light briquettes, do not use any other starters along with them. Do not add additional instant light briquettes once the coals are lit. Only add regular charcoal briquettes if more are needed.
• Once the grill is lit, do not touch briquettes or wood chunks to see if they are hot. Keep grill uncovered until ready to cook.
• Always allow coals to burn out completely and let ashes cool completely before disposing.
• Dispose of cold ashes by wrapping them in heavy duty aluminum foil and placing them in the provided ash bucket. Be sure no other combustible materials are nearby.
• Only place charcoal in the charcoal tray and nowhere else.
• Extinguished coals and ashes must be placed within a safe distance from all structures and combustible materials.
• Never leave coals and ashes in the grill unattended.
Lastly, be mindful of the mountain surroundings and take precautions, as only YOU can prevent forest fires.
Good to Knows...
The cabin is stocked with a starter pack of paper products, depending on the length of your stay you may need to supply additional. Bring your own toiletries. Coffee, tea, sugar, cooking spay and spices are provided, condiments are not. There is an outdoor security camera facing the driveway, for your safety as well as protecting the property. Lastly, Travel Insurance is fab! I hope you've purchased some for this trip! No cancellation refunds can be issued for any reason within the parameters you agreed to at the time of booking your stay. If there is a possibility of cancellation, consider purchasing travel insurance...you will be happy you have it if something unexpected should interrupt your trip.
Safety considerations: The cabin is in the mountains and there are native animals around which may include bears. Secure all doors including car doors as bears have been known to open unlocked doors.
The rental agreement is as follows.
Rental Rules
- Smoking is NOT allowed and drugs of any kind are NOT permitted.
- People other than those in the Guest Party set forth in the on-line agreement may not stay overnight in the property. Any other person in the property is the sole responsibility of the Guest. Guests are not allowed to exceed the occupancy limit agreed to in the on-line itinerary. No more that 6 guests are allowed in the cabin at any time.
- Guests should not create excessive noise at a level that disturbs neighbors; Code-enforced neighborhood quiet hours are from 10 pm to 6 am. If you plan to host a party, do not book this cabin.
- This cabin is privately owned; the owners are not responsible for any accidents, injuries or illness that occurs while on the premises or its facilities. The homeowner is not responsible for the loss of personal belongings/valuables of guests which may include loss due to wildlife. By accepting this reservation, it is agreed that all guests are expressly assuming the risk of any harm arising from their use of the premises or others whom they invite to use the premise.
- Keep the property and all furnishing in good order, removing any items from the cabin, including living and kitchen furnishing is not permitted.
- Only use appliances for their intended use.
- Pets are NOT allowed.
- Parking: Parking is limited to 3 vehicles. Vehicles are to be parked the driveway. Parking on the road is not permitted. Any illegally parked cars are subject to towing; applicable fines/towing fees are the sole responsibility of the vehicle owner.
- Housekeeping: there are no daily housekeeping services. While lines and bath towels are included in unit, daily maid services is not included in the rental rate. We do not permit towels or linens to be taken from the cabin. Check-out is at 10 am.
- Please lock all exterior doors and all windows before departing.
- Garbage: Any garbage must be stowed in the proper bear-proof garbage receptacle, located in front of the cabin. Please remove and dispose of all items in the refrigerator.
- Hot Tub: No children under the age of 18 permitted in the hot tub at any time without adult supervision. When using the hot tub, remember there is a certain health risk associated with this facility. Use at your own risk. The housekeepers drain, sanitize, refill and replenish chemicals in the tub prior to your arrival; therefore, it may not be warm until later that evening. DO NOT STAND ON THE HOT TUB COVER. Hot tub covers are for insulation purposes and are not designed to support a person or persons. They will break and you may be charged for replacement. Remember when not using the hot tub, leave cover on so hot tub will stay warm.
- Fireplace: The fireplace is a propane gas log fired fireplace. Please do not throw any paper or other combustible materials in the fireplace.
- Septic: The cabin is on a septic system and is very effective; however, it will clog up if improper material is flushed. DO NOT FLUSH anything other than toilet paper. No feminine products should be flushed at anytime. If it is found that feminine products have been flushed and clos the septic system, you could be charged damages up to $1000.00.
- Storms: No refunds will be given for storms. Mountain roads can be curvy and steep. We highly recommend a four-wheel drive vehicle during the snow months. We do not refund due to road conditions.
- Any damage to any items in the cabin, including couches, chairs, tables, TVs, hot tub, beds, sheets, towels, pillows, Infinity gaming table, etc., are the responsibility of the renter. Every items will be looked at before arrival and after departure. If you cause damage, notify the owner immediately.
Failure to comply with the above rules will result in non-return of security deposit and possible additional charges. Booking through Airbnb assigns your consent to all listed under "House Rules".
