Welcome to Melody BnB: The Lodge!

SERVICE ANIMALS must remain in a kennel when left unattended. Owners will be held responsible for damages or messes (inside or out) left by their animal. Pet messes left behind will incur an additional fee starting at $250. Please bring your own sheets to cover the couches if your pet will be on them. Thank you.

We reserve the right to refuse accommodation or demands from rude, disrespectful, and/or discourteous guests. We will not hesitate to terminate your stay at our discretion if you harass/verbally abuse our staff.

UNACCOMPANIED MINORS: As a safety and wellness precaution, no children under the age of 15 shall be left unattended without adult supervision.

EARLY CHECK-INS are not guaranteed. Airbnb allows you to choose a preferred check-in time, but it is ultimately up to the host to approve any check-ins before 3 pm. An accepted request to book does not mean your early check-in time was approved. You will need to send us a message asking us about our EXPRESS CHECK-IN options.

LATE CHECKOUTS must be approved by the management team. If you stay past your 11 am check out time without approval, you will automatically be charged for that listing's base nightly rate without discounts.

COMMUNICATION – All guests are required to have a working phone number to remain eligible for this booking.

PARKING – We (the host) are not responsible for anything that happens to your vehicle. There is one on-site parking spot located in front of the Unit garage port. An additional spot may be made available if requested in advance.

PACKAGES – Mail deliveries are prohibited. If you have mail sent to this address it will be sent away and we will not be held liable for its whereabouts. Food deliveries are perfectly acceptable.

MAINTENANCE – Understand that we are at the mercy of the property management maintenance team for most general “fix-it” requests. We ask that all our guests are patient and understanding in regards to this. If a previous guest has damaged something minor and we were unable to fix it before check in, a repair order will be made, but it is dependent on the maintenance team’s schedule. Examples: blinds, curtains, and lightbulbs fall under the “non-emergency” maintenance category and won’t be completed until they’ve addressed any emergency requests around the property first. $50 fine for not allowing maintenance staff to enter during reservation.

DAMAGES/ ALTERATIONS: Guests are not authorized to alter, paint, or repair this property without exclusive written permission from host. Do not change the property in any way to include disconnecting utilities or WIFI.

SMOKING – This is a non-smoking property. This includes vapes/e-cigarettes. Breaking this rule will result in a $200 fine and potentially the additional cost that is incurred by losing the next guest’s reservation because we cannot eliminate the odor in time for the next booking.

PARTIES - The complex enforces a strict no-parties/noise violation policy to all its residents. This includes all Airbnb guests as well. If you throw a party, trash the space, damage the unit, disrespect the property, or have a gathering with extra guests that are not reported in your initial booking, you are breaking the rules and will be fined $200.

CLEANING – Our cleaning fee is based on a courteous guest (e.g. someone who cleans up after themselves, puts dishes in the dishwasher, towels in the washer, leaves the place as they found it, etc.). This is NOT a hotel. If the housekeeping crew discovers an unreasonable mess post-checkout, we will charge an additional fee of $100. Dishwasher may be running and/or full of clean dishes. This home has been professionally cleaned and sanitized. For your comfort, we continue the flow of air throughout the home which may include the heater or fans. These factors may slightly alter the state of the home between the time the housekeeper has finished cleaning and the time you arrive. When you enter the home, you are bringing in dust, debris, hairs, lint, and other particles. These particles may settle on surfaces within the home.

Please do not put luggage, shoes, dirty items, etc on the beds. Somebody will be sleeping there.

YOU ACKNOWLEDGE that by accessing the home, you may directly or indirectly affect the surfaces and sanitization of the home due to the natural movement of air throughout the home.

EXTRA TOWELS/LINENS – Please understand and accept that our housekeeping crew needs to cover a number of units per day and within a short window of time. To accommodate the busy schedules, they sometimes need to leave the CLEAN towels drying in the dryer as they move on. If you do not see enough towels/linens for you when you arrive, please check the dryer.

Please cook odorous food outside.

Please take the time to familiarize yourself with any appliances you will be using (especially the ones that make fire). The indoor fireplace uses wood. The outdoor fire pit uses propane gas (supplied). Please use responsibly. Fully close propane tank valves after use

By booking this unit, you have read, understood, and agreed to all house rules listed above.
