Discover the rugged beauty of the Last Frontier at this amazing Denali-facing dry cabin in Trapper Creek, Alaska. Perfectly positioned for nature lovers, this cozy retreat serves as the ideal basecamp for your wilderness adventures.
Designed for comfort after a long day of exploring, the cabin features a simple and functional layout. Sleeping arrangements include one bedroom equipped with one comfortable queen bed, accommodating up to two guests.
Inside the cabin, you will find thoughtful touches to make your stay cozy, including a potbelly stove perfect for generating warmth or brewing your morning coffee, along with a small dining set for your convenience. As this is a traditional dry cabin, it does not have running water inside the unit. Instead, guests take a short walk across the highway to the Bunker Lodge. There, you will find a communal kitchen stocked with staples—though we ask that you bring your own perishables—and a large dining table for shared meals. The lodge also provides a connecting shared bathhouse and laundry facility featuring two full bathrooms available to all guests.
For those looking to explore the surrounding area, the location is exceptional. The property is situated on the Parks Highway at Milepost 156.2. If you are looking to hike, the Ermine Hill Trailhead is located at Milepost 157, less than one mile from the property. For those visiting Denali National Park, the park is located approximately 80 miles north at Milepost 237, a drive that typically takes between 1.5 to 2 hours depending on road conditions and traffic.
