Tucked away on a semi-private, lightly wooded lot, this charming getaway offers the ideal balance of relaxation and outdoor adventure for couples or small families.

The cottage is designed for comfort and ease, featuring 3 bedrooms and 3 beds, with 2 bathrooms to accommodate up to 6 guests. Inside, the home boasts an open living area with a large sectional and a cozy lounge space equipped with a 55” HDTV and DVD player. The space also includes a small kitchenette (no dishwasher) and a dining table that can seat up to nine guests.

Outdoor living is a highlight of this pastoral retreat. Guests can relax in the 4-person all-season hot tub, gather around the fire pit with outdoor seating, or enjoy the patio featuring a dining set, conversation seating, and a gas grill. For water enthusiasts, the property provides private lake access to Upper Scott Lake, a private off-site dock, and unrestricted use of a complimentary canoe. Please note that docks, watercraft, gas grills, and outdoor dining furniture are unavailable from October 25 to April 15.

Located in the heart of Southwest Michigan, the cottage is just 15 minutes from downtown South Haven, 20 minutes from Saugatuck, and 30 minutes from Holland. Visitors can enjoy dune rides, beautiful beaches, and local fruit picking at nearby Crane’s Orchards and Dutch Farms. The region is also a haven for antique lovers and wine enthusiasts, with over 27 area wineries offering tours and tastings.

Practical information and rules:

• Check-in: 5:00 PM | Check-out: 11:00 AM
• Pets: One small or medium-sized dog (75 lbs max) is welcome with a $50 non-refundable fee. Dogs must be house-trained, leashed outdoors, and not left unattended unless crated. Bathing dogs inside is prohibited.
• Restrictions: This is a 100% smoke-free home (including vaping and marijuana). No fireworks, camping, or RV parking. EV charging is strictly prohibited; violations result in a $400 fee plus repair costs.
• Policies: All unrelated guests must be 25+. No loud parties or drinking games. Quiet hours in Lee Township are strictly enforced from 10:00 PM to 8:00 AM.
• Parking: 4 private parking spaces are available in the driveway. Parking is only allowed in designated areas due to underground systems.
