The home is designed as a studio loft, featuring a spacious bedroom area that occupies the entire second floor with no walls or doors separating it from the rest of the home. This level includes a queen bed, a ceiling fan, a dedicated workspace with a desk and chair, and a flat-screen smart TV. The second floor also hosts a full bathroom with a shower/tub combo and recently renovated marble counters, which is connected directly to the bedroom. Downstairs on the first floor, the living area provides additional flexibility with a queen-sized pullout sofa bed. The first floor also includes a half bathroom equipped with a washer and dryer, and a kitchen separated from the living space by a curtain.

Outdoor living is a highlight of this property. You can relax on the private deck with outdoor furniture or enjoy the water views from the balconies located off the living room and bedroom. The surrounding landscape includes a small front yard, and the property provides free parking. Guests share a walking path with two neighboring units leading to a rocky beach located on state-owned conservation land.

Located on the southwestern side of Mount Desert Island, West Tremont is a scenic village known for its rocky shoreline and working waterfront. It serves as a tranquil alternative to the more tourist-heavy areas of the island. The cottage is perfectly positioned for exploration, located just 6 minutes from Bass Harbor, 10 minutes from Southwest Harbor, 30 minutes from the Cadillac Mountain entrance of Acadia National Park, and 35 minutes from downtown Bar Harbor.
