About Property

Discover a unique coastal escape at Prospect Rise, a captivating retreat located in the heart of East Sussex, England. This home invites you to relax and unwind while immersing yourself in the arty, bohemian atmosphere of the Hastings seafront, making it an ideal destination for those seeking a creative and spirited getaway by the water.

Stepping inside, you will find a residence that celebrates history and character. Dating back to the 1850s, the house retains much of its early Victorian charm. This is a home for those who appreciate personality over perfection; as the owner notes, if you prefer precise right-angled square boxes, you may be out of luck. Instead, you are greeted by an architect-designed interior featuring bold colours and patterns that create a vibrant and inspiring environment for your stay.

The home is thoughtfully arranged across two levels to maximize comfort. All living accommodation and the w/c are conveniently located on the ground floor, providing a welcoming space to gather. The first floor is dedicated to rest and refreshment, housing all three bedrooms and the primary bathroom. For additional safety and peace of mind, a stair gate is installed at the top of the stairs.

Sleeping arrangements are designed to accommodate up to 6 guests, featuring 3 bedrooms and 3 beds, supported by 1 bathroom. Whether you are visiting for the local art scene or the refreshing sea breeze, the layout provides a cozy and eclectic sanctuary.

Location is everything at Prospect Rise. The property is perfectly situated for effortless exploration, located less than a 10-minute walk from the station and less than a five-minute stroll from the seafront. You are just moments away from the eclectic shops, galleries, and seaside vistas that make Hastings so special.
