Welcome to The Happy Lobster, a cozy and classic Maine beach cottage that places you in the heart of Short Sands, York. Experience the ultimate coastal getaway with the sand and surf just a short 2–3 minute walk from your front door.

This inviting home is designed for family memories and relaxation. The main level features a comfortable, open living space perfect for unwinding after a sunny day at the beach. You will find a well-equipped kitchen ready for easy vacation meals and a dining area ideal for memorable family dinners. A full bathroom is also conveniently located on the main floor for all guests.

The sleeping arrangements are spread across the upper level, featuring 2 bedrooms and 1 bathroom in total. The first bedroom offers a queen bed, a TV, and a window A/C unit. The second bedroom is equipped with a full bed and a twin bed. For additional guests, there is a twin bed located on the second-floor landing, allowing the home to accommodate 6 guests. Please be mindful that the second-floor ceilings have limited headroom, so taller guests should take care when moving about upstairs.

Step outside to your private back patio, a space truly made for summer. You can fire up the gas grill for an outdoor feast or let the children enjoy the small grassy play area located right beside the patio.

Location & Neighborhood: Situated at 22B Main Street, this cottage allows you to park once and explore everything on foot. You are just steps away from village shops, ice cream stops, the arcade, and bowling. Guests are encouraged to visit the Bell Farm Shops and Nectar Café at Bell Farm—both owned by the wonderful homeowners who love meeting their guests.
