House Rules for 6 Long Beach Ave

No Smoking—This is non-smoking home. If there is evidence of smoking in the home, the cost of eliminating the odor and/or residue will be charged to the renter.

Parking—Driveway parking behind the house is available for up to 4 registered vehicles. Parking on the lawn is not permitted. The owners do not assume responsibility for any illegally parked vehicles.

Trash and refuse must be bagged(per York town ordinance) and deposited in the containers provided behind the house.

Events—Events are not allowed to be held on the premises and gatherings should not exceed 12 people. Renters are expected to be considerate of neighbors regarding excessive noise level after 10pm.

Maximum Occupancy— The maximum number of guests at 6 Long Beach Ave is 6 people, including children over 1 year old.

Bathroom - Toilet paper is the only product that should be flushed down the toilet. “Flushable” wipes, baby wipes, paper towels and sanitary items should never be deposited in the toilet. Service calls for maintenance issues caused by you or your guests during your stay for violating this rule will be charged to the renter. Water damage resulting from incidents such as an overflowing bathtub or windows left open during a torrential rain storm may also result in charges to the renter.

Housekeeping—While a one time set up of linens and and bath towels are provided, daily housekeeping is not included in the rental rate. Please bring your own beach towels, we do not want towels or linen removed from the property. In the event that a washer and dryer is not in your unit, we recommend you bring extra towels from home or use the Village Laundromat or Cottage Linens. A one time set up of toilet paper, paper towels and cleaning supplies will be provided.

Minimum Age—We will not contract with any renter younger than 25.

Liability — The home is privately owned; the owners are not responsible for any accidents, injuries or illness that occurs while on the premises. The homeowners are not responsible for the loss of any personal belongings or valuables of the guest. By accepting this reservation, it is agreed that all guests are expressly assuming the risk of any harm arising from their personal use of the premises or others whom they invite to use the premises.

Damage— A credit card must be on file to pay for any of the following incidents that exceed the amount of the security deposit. a.Damages to the home or it’s contents. b.Replacement costs of property that is missing, including linen and towels, lost keys and remote controls for light fixtures, televisions and air conditioners. c.Restoration costs resulting from smoking inside the house. d.Charges incurred by homeowner if renter is in violation of the law, for example, contraband for illegal drug use. e.Charges incurred in the collection of the agreed upon rent or services rendered during the stay. f. Cost for disposal of anything other than household trash left inside or outside of the house.

Conditions—The home will be in clean and working condition. No compensations will be given for travel issues outside the owners’ control, including, but not limited to, power outages, internet outages, cable TV outages, etc. For issues within the owners’ control, the owners will make every effort to rectify problems right away which may occur while you are in the home. It is the renter’s responsibility to notify the owner immediately if there are any problems. No refunds or any other compensation will be given for problems that the owner is able to rectify within a reasonable time frame. Pests: a citing of an ant or spider, et al, will not be considered a travel issue or a condition for canceling the stay. Our cleaners conduct a thorough cleaning, including dusting and vacuuming prior to your arrival but we do not apply toxic pesticides in the home or on the property.

Pets - Only pets approved at the time of booking are allowed in the home or on the premises. The pet owner must agree to the pet policy provided.

No smoking. No use of the fireplace. Please refrain from gatherings of more than 12 people.gathering, please no events except for guests and family members. Please curb late night noise levels. Please clean up after pets in yard. Please keep dogs on a leash when outside. Pets are not allowed on uncovered furniture, owners will cover couches and ottoman. Parking in driveway for up to 4 cars for guests' use. A citing of an insect or other pest does not constitute a basis for a refund or ending a stay. We clean thoroughly but do not use toxic pesticides.
