No wearing shoes in house please

Parties and events must be booked as a separate reservation type. This booking is for private use of the home and property for the number of guests set at the time of booking.

Owner assumes no liability for use of pool, trampoline or other features of the property, as these features are inherently dangerous. Adult supervision must be present at all times. Guests must exercise caution, and assume all liability when using these features. There is no diving or jumping off of the structures around the pool. Decks, tile and stairs around pool and the home will be slippery when wet. Please use caution and keep floors dry.

No lifeguard is present or provided by owner. There is no fence around the pool or spa. Please keep a close eye on children or those who are unable to swim at all times.

HVAC Use: HVAC systems are set up to automatically keep the inside of the home cool. There are controls on the walls throughout the home. We ask that they are not adjusted as manually adjusting them can result in a malfunction or loss of the programming. Please keep doors and windows shut while air conditioning is on to conserve energy. If there are any issues with the temperature of the home please contact Owner and we will adjust it.

Top Spa Use & Heater: There is a large spa outside the back sliding door of the home. It’s costly to keep heated so we ask that use is kept to 2 or 3 hours per day, and that the Spa / heat function is turned off when not in use. If you wish to run the spa longer (including the possibility of running it 24/7) additional charges will be passed on to Guest at a rate of $10 per hour or $3 per gallon of liquid propane.

Main Pool Use & Heater: The temperature of the main pool is subject to the outdoor temperature and time of year. San Diego spring and summer can be quite hot and the water temperature can naturally be in the high 70’s, 80’s or higher. If you wish to boost the temperature and use the heater there is a cost of $200 per day which covers the actual cost of liquid propane.

Exercise Equipment: Exercise equipment on the property and in the home is for adult use only. Use of the equipment, including but not limited to weights, exercise bike and treadmill is done at users / Guests risk and should only be done if the user is in good physical health. Please wipe down equipment after each use with a towel and/or the provided gym wipes.

Wood Burning Fireplace: If you choose to use the wood fireplace on the outdoor patio, please take care to keep the doors and windows of the house CLOSED so as to prevent smoke damage to the interior of the home. Please also clean all ash and charcoal after use and replace the logs.

Gas Fire Pits: Gas fire pits use liquid propane. We ask that they are not left on other than for occasional use and that the flames be kept to no more than 4” to 6” high in order to prevent the possibility of a brush fire. Propane used for fire pits that are left on for extended periods of time (beyond 3 hours per day) will be billed to guest at $10 per hour or $3 per gallon of liquid propane.
