Discover the perfect mountain getaway at 'Ace in the Hole,' a cozy tiny cabin tucked away in the trees of Whittier, North Carolina. This standalone retreat serves as a clean and practical base camp for couples and small groups looking to explore the beauty of the region without sacrificing the comfort of a private home.
The cabin is designed for efficiency and charm, featuring 1 bedroom with 1 queen bed on the main floor and 1 bathroom. For additional guests, there is a loft sleeping area equipped with two twin mattresses. Please note that the loft is accessed via a ladder with a 300-pound weight limit and features low, sloped ceilings, making it an ideal spot for children or smaller adults. Due to the nature of the tiny home design, guests over 6'3" may find clearance tight in certain areas, particularly in the loft.
Inside, you will find a functional living area with two chairs and a TV, and a full kitchen complete with a stove, oven, refrigerator, microwave, coffee maker, and basic cookware. For added convenience, a private washer and dryer are located in a separate laundry closet attached to the cabin, accessible by stepping outside briefly.
Outdoor living is a highlight of the property, featuring a private deck with seating, a relaxing hammock, a picnic table, and atmospheric string lights. While you will share a gravel driveway with one other cabin on the property, your outdoor spaces are reserved exclusively for your use.
Located right off Highway 441, the cabin offers unmatched access to local attractions:
