Guests and residents enjoy the especially serene and quiet atmosphere at Hale Mahina; as such, group bookings are strongly discouraged and house rules are strictly enforced at all times. *Please note: The Hale Mahina Beach Resort/Resident Manager is very strict when it comes to:

Smoking. Smoking is not allowed in the condo, on the lanai, at the pool area or on the beach. Smoking is in the designated smoking area which is in the parking lot No group stays. If you have rented multiple condos for the same stay dates for family/friends you may want to re think your resort choice. Quiet hours: 10pm to 8am Kids and the pool area-no pool toys, no games like Marco-polo, no unaccompanied minors GENERAL

1. "Quiet time". Please respect your neighbors and keep noise to a minimum between the hours of 10:00 pm and 8:00 am. At other times, please keep noise (voices, television, stereos) to a minimum so that it does not disturb your neighbors.
2. Pool and spa: The pool and spa hours are from 8:00 am to 9:30 pm. Proper swim attire is mandatory. Please shower off sand and salt water prior to entering the pool. Please do not enter the pool with suntan oil, ointments, hairpins or other small objects that could clog the filtration system and could result in the inconvenience of a pool 'shut down.' For the same reason, glass containers or bottles are not permitted in the pool or spa area the maximum occupancy of the spa is six guests and each guest is limited to 20 minutes so all guests may enjoy the spa. Smoking is not permitted around or near the pool or spa area.
3. Swimming: There is no life guard on duty; swimming is at your own risk. Please do not sit or stand on the spa wall as you could slip and injure yourself. Infants and those with limited swimming ability must be monitored by an adult. Individuals with medical problems and infants are not permitted in the spa. Please read and comply with the posted pool and spa rules
4. Guests: Vacationers residing at Hale Mahina are limited to two guests and must be accompanied by a registered adult vacationer when using the pool or spa. Overnight guests are not permitted.
5. Emergency: In case of an emergency, call the police, fire department or ambulance service by dialing 911. LAWN AREA
6. Lounge chairs: The lounge chairs cannot be reserved. Please do not take them to the beach or onto the pool deck.
7. Games: Games which may endanger others or interfere with the enjoyment of others are not permitted in the lawn area.
8. Animals/birds: To avoid rodents and other pests, please do not feed birds or other stray animals.
9. Seawall: Climbing or standing on the seawall is dangerous and it is slippery, so please refrain from doing so.
10. Flowers: The flowers are for the enjoyment of all, so please enjoy but do not pick them.
11. BBQ: Outdoor barbecuing is permitted only at the barbecue grills. Within The Unit
12. Trash: Please bag all trash. First floor occupants: please dispose of bagged trash in the trash bins. Second and other floor occupants: use the trash chutes located in the room across from the elevator. Please dispose of your trash between 9:00 am to 10:00 pm.
13. Kitchen disposal: Pouring grease into the kitchen disposal creates plumbing problems. Please refrain from doing so; your cooperation is appreciated.
14. Lanai: Towels, bathing suits or other items may not be hung from the lanai railings, nor are items to be dropped from the lanai. With the exception of small candles no open flames are permitted on the lanais.
15. Noise: Shouting or yelling from the lanai is a disturbance to others and is not permitted. Parking Lot
16. Permit: Parking permits should be located within your unit, or please obtain one from the resident manager and place it on your dashboard whenever you are parked at Hale Mahina. When you are sightseeing or otherwise away from Hale Mahina, do not display your permit as it will list your unit number.
17. Parking: Please, park between the stall lines and do not back into a parking stall.
18. Number of stalls: One bedroom units are allowed one parking stall and two bedroom units are allowed two parking stalls. Guest parking is permitted only if there are sufficient parking stalls for all owners and occupants of Hale Mahina.
19. Motorcycles: Motorcycles are not permitted on the property.
20. Towing: Cars in violation of the rules will be towed at the expense of the authorized driver of the vehicle. Miscellaneous
21. Windows and doors: If you occupy a ground floor unit, be sure to secure and lock your sliding glass door and jalousies at night or while you are away. Occupants of other floors are encouraged to do the same.
22. Room key: Your room key is required to enter and exit the secured pool gate between the buildings. Please close the gate after entering or exiting.
23. Fireworks: Shooting off fireworks on the property is prohibited
24. Geckos: Please enjoy the geckos but do not harass them. Violation Of Rules The Board of Directors and owners of Hale Mahina hope and desire that all guests who stay here have a wonderful and enjoyable experience. For this reason, the above enumerated rules have been adopted. In that rare instance where these rules have been found to have been disobeyed, it is possible that the violation may result in an eviction.
