About Property

Discover the ultimate mountain getaway at Par & Pine Lodge, a cozy four-bedroom A-frame retreat in Basye, Virginia. Perched on the mountainside, this classic chalet offers a one-of-a-kind experience with an open view of the Bryce Resort golf course and Bryce Mountain, blending updated designer touches with rustic mountain charm.

The lodge is thoughtfully designed to sleep eight guests comfortably across four distinct sleeping areas. The main floor features a bedroom with a king bed and a second bedroom with a twin bunk bed, both served by a nearby full bathroom. A spacious loft overlooking the great room provides another king bed. For added privacy, a separate lower bedroom suite includes a queen bed and its own full bathroom; please note this suite is accessed from the outside and is ideal for teens or adults rather than young children.

Inside, the open great room serves as the heart of the home, featuring a toasty gas logs fireplace with a smart TV above the mantel. The kitchen is fully equipped for group dining with an island seating three, bar seating for four, and a cafe table for two. The home's interior blends seamlessly with the outdoors via huge glass doors and windows that lead to a spacious upper wrap-around deck, complete with a charcoal grill and a six-person dining table. Below, a large lower deck invites you to relax in Adirondack chairs around a Solo Stove fire pit.

Located just minutes from Bryce Resort's lodge, ski and bike lifts, and the dining options of Basye—including the Burn Barrel tavern and Pale Fire Brewing—the lodge is a perfect base for adventure. Guests can enjoy year-round activities such as snow tubing, skiing, golfing, and exploring Lake Laura. The northern Shenandoah Valley also offers hiking, wineries, and the Shenandoah Valley Music Festival.
