Designed for comfort and flexibility, the cottage accommodates up to 5 guests. The sleeping arrangements consist of two bedrooms: one featuring a double bed, and the second containing a semi-double and a single bed. For additional space, a sofa bed is available in the living room. The layout includes one bathroom with a separate shower room and a washlet toilet.
The heart of the home is an open-plan living, dining, and kitchen area with expansive windows and a wood-pellet stove that makes the space feel like the right place to be on cool mountain evenings. The kitchen is well-equipped with an IH cooktop, microwave/convection oven, rice cooker, coffee maker, toaster, and a nabe set for traditional hot-pot nights. A washing machine and dryer are also provided for your convenience.
Outside, you will find a wide paved area and a lawn, perfect for relaxing or letting children play. Guests can enjoy outdoor seating with camping chairs and a tarp, or opt to rent a BBQ set for an extra fee. Fireworks are permitted in the car park until 9 PM.
Located in the small mountain village of Togari, the cottage is within easy walking distance of the Shinetsu Trail trailhead and the Akatsuki no Yu hot spring baths. For those seeking activity, the hosts can arrange e-bike tours or guided Shugendo mountain experiences.
