Discover a peaceful getaway at The Nook Up North, a newly renovated cabin tucked in the trees near Bass Lake in Traverse City, Michigan. Born out of a love for adventure, this retreat is designed as a place to break from the everyday grind, rejuvenate, and connect with nature where indoor meets outdoor.

The cabin features a thoughtful layout with 2 bedrooms, 2 beds, and 1 bathroom, accommodating up to 4 guests. The first bedroom includes a full-sized bed with an attached closet and the cabin's only bathroom, which features a shower and a light-up mirror. For an extra touch of comfort during cold months, the bathroom offers heated floors. The second sleeping area is a cozy loft featuring a king-sized bed; please note that the loft is accessed via a ladder and the ceiling height is not tall enough to stand.

Designed with sustainability and inclusivity in mind, the 500 sq. ft. home utilizes an open floor plan to feel spacious, and the lower level is universally accessible. Inside, you will find a functional kitchen equipped with stainless steel appliances, including a dishwasher, electric range, and refrigerator, as well as a K-cup coffee maker. A dedicated laundry and mud room provides eco-friendly supplies and first aid essentials.

The outdoor experience is exceptional, featuring two screened-in porches with cushioned seating. A private, year-round hot tub on the back deck overlooks the lake, perfect for stargazing. Guests can also enjoy a secluded wooded area ideal for evening bonfires, s'mores, and grilling on the park grill, or simply relax in the hammock. For convenience, there is a private outdoor shower and a carport with an electric vehicle charger.

Located just 15 minutes from downtown Traverse City and the Grand Traverse Bay, the cabin is perfectly positioned for shopping, dining, and beach trips. While the property overlooks the beautiful, spring-fed Bass Lake, there is no direct lake access on-site. Guests can drive approximately 5 miles to the Bass Lake Public Boat launch for swimming and kayaking.
