1. Check in: 4pm or after / Checkout: Anytime before 9am. Late checkout is not permitted; a penalty of $100 per hour will be charged for late departures.

3. Pet fees - we love our four-legged guests and welcome dogs with a low $200 pet fee per stay (maximum of 2). If there is any damage or extra cleaning from the pet, we will contact you after the check-out inspection to resolve it.

4. Must be 25 years of age or older with past positive reviews to book the home.

5. No smoking in or around the property. $250 fine for any smoking.

6. No parties, events or extra guests/visitors that are not on the reservation permitted at the property.

7. You are fully responsible for any damage to the golf carts and agree to follow the golf-cart rules including but not limited to: No drivers under 18; No driving on the beach; No driving through puddles. Please notify hosts of any damage to the golf carts upon your arrival to avoid costs being allocated to you.

8. Very important: Due to the beachfront location of our home, we share our land with sea turtles, and after hatching, the babies will walk to the moon to find the water. It is very important to turn off all lights at night, so the sea turtle babies do not travel in the wrong direction.

9. Very important: We share the island gopher tortoises, which are endangered and protected. Please do not touch any gopher tortoises anywhere on the island. They have the right of way in the streets :)

GOLF CART RULES: • Renter is responsible for the cost to repair any damage that occurs to the cart during their stay.
• Drivers must be 16+ with a valid driver’s license • Drive slow and responsibly at all times • Road use only — no beach driving, off-road use, or entry into the State Preserve (this is prohibited by law) • If You Get Stuck do not use the motor to free the cart • Recharge daily and in between uses.
• Avoid standing water - if the motor becomes submerged (rain or tidal water), the renter is responsible for all resulting motor damage • Never drive through saltwater • Drive slowly over potholes and uneven surfaces — carts aren’t designed for rough terrain

Passenger Limits • 4-seater carts: max 4 passengers • 6-seater carts: max 6 passengers

GUEST RELEASE OF LIABILITY

Bicycles, Kayak, and Golf Cart Release of Liability: By renting this vacation home, I understand and accept that using the bicycles, and/or kayak and/or golf cart(s) onsite expose me to many hazards and entail unavoidable risk of death, personal injury (including but not limited to severe spinal or head injury) and loss of or damage to property. I also understand I should be in good physical health to participate in bicycling and/or kayaking. I choose to participate in bicycling and/or kayaking and/for golf cart driving in spite of these risks and hereby assume all risk of injury or loss of life to myself and loss of or damage to property. I understand the inherent risk involved in using this equipment; accept full responsibility for any and all such damage or injury which may result.

General Release of Liability: The renter and all other parties on the premises during the stay hereby assume all risk of any and all injury or harm and agree to release, indemnify, defend, and forever discharge the releasee from all liability, claims, demands, damages, costs, expenses, and causes of action due to death, injury, loss, or damage to the undersigned.

You affirm that you HAVE READ THIS GUEST RELEASE AND WAIVER AND FULLY UNDERSTAND THE ASSUMPTION OF RISK, RELEASE, WAIVER, AND CONSENT CONTAINED IN IT. YOU FURTHER UNDERSTAND THAT YOU HAVE GIVEN UP RIGHTS BY AGREEING TO THESE TERMS, AND HAVE DONE SO FREELY AND VOLUNTARILY AND WITHOUT INDUCEMENT.
