GENERAL HOUSE RULES:

Check in: 4pm or after / Checkout: Anytime before 10am. Late checkout is not permitted; a penalty of $100 per hour will be charged for late departures.

Quite hours after 10pm. No audible noise to any neighbors or from the street after 10pm.
Must be 25 years of age or older with past positive reviews to book the home. No smoking in or around the property. $250 fine for any smoking. We warmly welcome dogs as our four-legged guests with a pet fee of $100 per stay (maximum of 2 dogs). In the event of any pet-related damage or additional cleaning required, we will contact you after the check-out inspection to address the matter. No parties, events or extra guests/visitors (that are not on the reservation) are permitted at the property at any time. All reunions, small weddings or the like must be approved in advance and are subject to an event fee.

Parking: There are two parking spots total. No on-street parking is permitted. Street parking (especially of blocking a sidewalk or on the swale) will be ticketed by the city.

Please place all garbage into the designated bins.

Guest agrees to bring green trash bins to the street on Sunday night for city collection. (Garbage trucks pick up trash on Monday Morning).

We highly recommend purchasing the Travel Insurance to protect you if you need to cancel after the cancellation period.

No lifeguard is on duty. Water areas at the property present a risk of serious injury, drowning, or death. Guest assumes all such risks and is solely responsible for the active and constant supervision of all persons in their party, especially minors.

RELEASE OF LIABILITY: Paddleboards/Kayaks, Waterfront, Dock and Boat Lift Release of Liability: By renting this vacation home, I understand and accept that using any of the items listed above expose me to many hazards and entail unavoidable risk of death, personal injury (including but not limited to severe spinal or head injury) and loss of or damage to property. I also understand I should be in good physical health to participate in bicycling and/or kayaking. I choose to participate in bicycles, and/or kayaks and/or paddleboards and/or rafts and/or golf cart(s) in spite of these risks and hereby assume all risk of injury or loss of life to myself and loss of or damage to property. I understand the inherent risk involved in using this equipment; accept full responsibility for any and all such damage or injury which may result.

Swimming Pool and/or Hot Tub Release of Liability: The swimming pool and hot tub are used at the renter’s and guests’ sole risk. No lifeguard is on duty at any time. Renter accepts full responsibility for the safe use and supervision of the pool and/or hot tub and for all persons on the property during the stay, including minors. Renter acknowledges that use of the pool and/or hot tub involves inherent risks, including serious bodily injury, drowning, and death.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Renter, on behalf of themselves and all occupants and guests, hereby releases, waives, discharges, and agrees to hold harmless and indemnify the property owner, host, Vanage Vacation Homes from any and all claims, demands, liabilities, damages, losses, or expenses arising out of or related to the use of the pool or/or hot tub, including claims arising from ordinary negligence. Renter agrees to ensure constant supervision of children, prohibit diving unless expressly permitted, and comply with all posted rules and safety instructions.

Dock Release of Liability: Vanage Vacation Homes, host, the property owner, and their agents assume no responsibility for loss, theft, damage, sinking, collision, weather-related damage, or any other harm to any boat, watercraft, jet ski, trailer, paddlecraft, or other personal property brought onto, stored at, docked at, or moored at the property. All docking, mooring, launching, loading, and securing of any vessel is done entirely at the guest’s sole risk and responsibility.

General Release of Liability: The renter and all other parties on the premises during the stay hereby assume all risk of any and all injury or harm and agree to release, indemnify, defend, and forever discharge the releasee from all liability, claims, demands, damages, costs, expenses, and causes of action due to death, injury, loss, or damage to the undersigned.

You affirm that you HAVE READ THIS GUEST RELEASE AND WAIVER AND FULLY UNDERSTAND THE ASSUMPTION OF RISK, RELEASE, WAIVER, AND CONSENT CONTAINED IN IT. YOU FURTHER UNDERSTAND THAT YOU HAVE GIVEN UP RIGHTS BY AGREEING TO THESE TERMS, AND HAVE DONE SO FREELY AND VOLUNTARILY AND WITHOUT INDUCEMENT.
