About Property

Discover the ultimate mountain escape at the Wild Turkey Retreat, a cozy and fun cabin in Estes Park, Colorado, designed as the perfect family-friendly basecamp for groups of 6. Nestled in a quiet residential neighborhood within a wildlife corridor between Prospect Mountain Open Space and Giant Track Mountain, this home is essentially an outdoor zoo with free admission where elk, deer, and wild turkeys are everywhere.

This inviting retreat features 3 bedrooms, 3 beds, and 3 bathrooms. The layout includes a main floor with a queen bedroom featuring its own private wall-mounted fireplace, a full bathroom, and a full kitchen. Upstairs, you will find a king bedroom and a bedroom with a full bed, both adjacent to an upstairs seating area and bathrooms comprising a powder room and a separate shower room. The open living and dining area is anchored by a huge sectional couch, a big smart TV, and a wood-burning fireplace for chilly evenings.

Outdoor living is where this property truly shines. Guests can soak up the scenery in the year-round hot tub or relax on the big deck and private front porch. The spacious backyard is a hub of activity, featuring corn hole, a gas fire pit, and a BBQ for grilling. For those visiting in the warmer months, an outdoor summer shower is also available.

Location highlights include being just a 1-minute drive to Country Supermarket and blocks away from some of the best eats in town. The Rocky Mountain National Park entrance and downtown Estes Park are both a quick 5-minute drive, while the Estes Park Golf Course is only 6 minutes away. For winter enthusiasts, Hidden Valley backcountry skiing and sledding are a 20-minute drive.
