About Property

Discover the ultimate coastal getaway at The Lookout at R½, a stunning 2-bedroom top-floor retreat perched just a 2-minute walk from the Galveston beach. Part of the Rest & Enjoy Vacation Rentals collection, this airy sanctuary offers a rare opportunity to soak under the stars with ocean breezes, making it the perfect home base for your Texas coast adventure.

The home is designed for relaxation and comfort, featuring 2 bedrooms, 2 beds, and 1 bathroom, with a total guest capacity of 5. Both bedrooms are appointed with queen beds, ceiling fans, closets, and nightstands, with windows facing toward Pleasure Pier—a view that becomes especially striking at night as the pier lights up over the Gulf. The full bathroom provides a spa-like experience with its rain-head shower. For additional guests, the open-concept living area includes a comfortable sofa that converts into a sleeper.

The heart of the home is the bright, open-concept living space and fully equipped kitchen, which features a full-size refrigerator, oven, microwave, stove, and a Keurig coffee maker with complimentary K-cups for your first morning.

Outdoor living is where this property truly shines. The wraparound top-floor deck serves as the centerpiece, offering panoramic 360° views of the Gulf, Pleasure Pier, and the Galveston skyline. In the courtyard below, guests have exclusive access to a 4-person hot tub and a 2-person sauna, complemented by multiple seating areas on a well-lit concrete paver patio.

Located at 3127 Avenue R½ on the Galveston Seawall, you are perfectly positioned for convenience. The beach is just steps away, Scholes International Airport (GLS) is only 4 minutes away, and the cruise terminals are a quick 10-minute drive, making this an ideal spot for pre or post-cruise stays.
