This expansive residence is designed for large groups, featuring 6 bedrooms, 6 beds, and 6 bathrooms, comfortably accommodating up to 16 guests. The sleeping arrangements include a primary bedroom with a king bed, a Mid-century Modern themed room with a king bed, and a Night themed room with a king bed. For the children or larger groups, there is a "Where the Wild Things Are" themed room with a full-over-full bunk and twin trundle, and a Marvel themed room in the basement featuring two sets of twin-over-twin bunks with trundles. For those seeking privacy, the Paris themed suite is a separate space featuring a king bed, sofa, and its own en-suite bathroom.
Inside, guests will find an amazing Mario themed game room equipped with arcade systems, a Nintendo Switch, ping pong, and foosball. The home boasts a custom indoor sauna and a fully loaded kitchen with double ovens and dishwashers. Outdoor luxury awaits with a heated saltwater pool (open April through October), a 7-person hot tub, and a private boat dock. Guests can enjoy various yard games including cornhole, giant Jenga, and croquet.
Located in Norton Shores, just south of Muskegon, the home is adjacent to the beautiful Lake Harbor Park. It provides a serene atmosphere where you can watch the sunrise from the deck before heading to the water's edge.
Practical details include a check-in time of 4:00 PM and check-out at 10:00 AM. A security deposit hold of $1000 is required two days prior to arrival. To ensure a comfortable environment for all, pets are not allowed and smoking of any substance is strictly prohibited inside the house. Parties are not permitted, and all guests must be 23+ unless accompanied by a parent or guardian. Please note that exterior security cameras are in place for safety.

Other things to note/ red tape :
All guests must be 21+ with the exception of children with their parent/guardian. 20 person max in the house. Exceeding the maximum permitted occupancy will result in the loss of your deposit. You may also be asked to leave with no refund.
Absolutely NO smoking ANY substances in the house. Absolutely no fires, including candles. Unauthorized smoking or fires will be charged the full deposit amount plus damages and extra cleaning fees - including but not limited to smoke damage or odors. Absolutely no pets of any kind, no exceptions. You will be charged $500 plus extra cleaning fees if you bring a pet. This is for the benefit of all guests to make sure anyone with animal allergies can be confident they will be safe and comfortable staying in our house.
All renters will be required to sign a rental agreement upon booking. It is the renter’s responsibility to get all guests to read and agree to the rental agreement. If a guest refuses to sign, they are violating the House Rules, and their booking can be canceled without penalty.
No refunds for weather/ natural disasters/ power outages/ noise/ other things that are beyond our control unless there is a mandatory evacuation order in place by local authorities. It is highly recommended that you purchase an inexpensive travel insurance policy. (Hurricane season in TX is June 1-November 30. If traveling during these dates to TX, we strongly recommend purchasing travel insurance with coverage for natural disasters!! This gives you peace of mind in the event you have unforeseen circumstances that require you to cancel outside of the refund windows on our cancellation policy. Please review our policy timelines. Travel insurance costs 7.00% of the total booking amount, or you can upgrade to the CFAR (Cancel For Any Reason) product for 10.8% of the total trip cost. This option will be offered at check out. This is much cheaper than only receiving 47%,(50% minus 3% credit card transaction cost) or even none, of your booking fee back if you have to cancel within 30 days of your trip start.*
We want you to enjoy your vacation as much as possible so we will not bother you, but we are available for your questions. Our business office hours are: 9/8c-6/5c 7days per week on Airbnb messenger. Not guaranteed by phone or text. If you have an emergency call 911. Our property supervisors live down the street, and you can contact them 24/7 with any needs that may arise or to answer any questions you have during your stay.
At Redfish Retreat you have a front seat to the public beach which will sometimes mean noise and music so we have provided a sound machine in every bedroom so you can still sleep the night away.
Notice of Cameras: There are cameras in place for your protection. If you touch or tamper with the cameras (including turning off the Wi-Fi) you will be asked to leave the property immediately with no refund. The cameras are for your protection! There is an active Ring floodlight with a security camera facing the driveway and a Ring camera facing down the stairs only (in TX also a camera facing the dunes) and doorbell cameras (in WV and MI). These are for your safety as well as the safety of the house. There are NO cameras inside the house or facing any living spaces inside or out.
Shampoos, toiletries, condiments, zip locs, charcoal and coffee are NOT provided. Plan to bring your own or purchase them when you arrive.
A security deposit HOLD of $1000 will be placed on the credit card you enter 2 days prior to your reservation date. This is NOT a charge, just a hold. It will be released after we have had a chance to inspect the property or within 5 days after your reservation ends, minus any damages found.
