About Property

Discover the magic of the Blue Ridge Mountains at Mountain Dream, Cabin 1, a newly renovated retreat tucked just over a mile off the Blue Ridge Parkway in Spruce Pine, North Carolina. This modern cabin provides an inviting escape where you can immerse yourself in the beauty of the Bear Den Spacious Skies community, making it the perfect home base for all your mountain dreams.

The layout is designed for cozy, stylish, and comfortable living, featuring 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. The upstairs area offers a private sanctuary with an open bedroom featuring a king bed and an ensuite bathroom. Downstairs, you will find a second bedroom equipped with a queen bed and twin bunks, with bathroom access located through the small and cozy den. The cabin is designed to accommodate up to 6 guests, though the host recommends 4 or 5 adults as the top bunk is best suited for younger guests.

While the home features a new kitchen with new appliances and new furniture, the real draw is the seamless blend of indoor and outdoor relaxation. You can spend your afternoons on the deck soaking in the scenic views or unwinding in the private hot tub. Inside, you can settle in and enjoy the warmth of sitting by the fire.

Located in the heart of the mountains, the surrounding neighborhood is a playground for nature lovers, hosting over 13 miles of hiking trails and its own waterfall. Guests can also explore neighboring campground amenities, including a small lake ideal for fishing or swimming. For winter enthusiasts, the cabin is approximately 45 minutes from Jonas Ridge Snow Tubing and about one hour from three major ski resorts: Sugar, Beech, and Hatley Pointe.
