As the cabin is our personal home, we ask that guests do their part to take good care of it.

Guests are required to sign rental agreement - Security deposit of $500 required. The Primary renting guest must be over the age of 25 and will be an occupant of the unit during the entire reserved period.

High clearance vehicles with AWD/4x4's are encouraged, however during winter months (Nov-March), a vehicle must be a high clearance with AWD or 4x4 to use the driveway. In cases of snow, it can be difficult to navigate a low clearance vehicle up the driveway.

Smoking (of any kind) is not permitted anywhere on the property. If need be, please smoke on the street and dispose of cigarettes in a safe place until you can take them to the "clean site at the end your stay." This includes e-cigarettes. If any sign of smoking is discovered in or on the property, guest authorizes the Owner to charge the Guest a minimum $250 cleaning fee.

We encourage quiet hours after 10pm to allow others to enjoy the serene environment.

We kindly ask that guests leave shoes by the door in the provided boot trays, especially ski boots.

No pets are allowed unless authorized by host, and additional fees do apply for pets. Unless the rental policy specifically allows, if any sign of any pet is discovered Guest authorizes Owner to charge the guest an additional minimum $500 cleaning fee.

Big Bear Lake's Good Neighbor Policy will be signed at check-in: Do not exceed the occupancy limit: Max Adults: 6 Max Occupancy: 7.
The maximum number of vehicles permitted is on the exterior sign: Max Vehicles: 2 Do not exceed the stated occupancy at any time during your stay. The maximum number of adult occupants may be less than the total maximum occupancy. NO PARTIES, excessive noise, or any illegal activity shall take place at property.

Parking is only permitted in the driveway, designated parking spaces, and garage. This includes trailers. Parking on the street or yard may lead to you being towed.

Amplified Music Amplified music is not permitted to be heard beyond the property line 24/7. Please close any windows to avoid music carrying beyond the property line.

Head inside at 10:00 p.m. Noisy outdoor activities are prohibited from 10:00 p.m. – 7:00 a.m.

Take trash to dumpster locations Trash must be taken to a local dumpsite. Clean Bear locations: 41790 Garstin Drive & 39690 Big Bear Blvd.

Fines The minimum fine for violating the rules stated previously is $500 per violation. A second offense is $1000 per violation.

Eviction Unruly guests who blatantly disregard the rules and expectations will be evicted without a refund. In addition, costly citations may be issued to the undersigned.

Cleaning: We will clean and inspect the house after guests departure. We ask that guests help our cleaning crew as much as possible. Simple things like leaving the property tidy, washing any used dishes, and taking out the trash are expected of guests. We ask that you take care when cleaning what has been used and return items to where they were found. If unsure of where they go, please just wash them and leave them on the counter.

If excessive wear and tear is found on property, or additional cleaning is necessary due to spills, trash left on site, unclean dishes, stains to furniture, carpeting, linens, paint, wallpaper, or flooring, Guest authorizes the Owner to bill them for additional fees. If at any time the maximum number of occupants is exceeded or if the Owner receives information about excessive noise, Owner has the right to evict Guest.
