1. Check-in time is 4pm, and checkout is anytime before 9am. Please note that late checkout is not permitted, and a penalty of $100 per hour will be charged for departures beyond the specified time.

2. Quiet hours are in effect after 10pm to ensure a peaceful environment for all island residents and guests.

3. We warmly welcome dogs as our four-legged guests with a pet fee of $200 per stay (maximum of 2 dogs). In the event of any pet-related damage or additional cleaning required, we will contact you after the check-out inspection to address the matter.

4. To book the home, guests must be 25 years of age or older and have a positive history of reviews.

5. Smoking is strictly prohibited inside and around the property. A fine of $250 will be imposed for any violation of the no-smoking policy.

6. Parties, events, and extra guests/visitors who are not listed on the reservation are not permitted at the property. Events such as small weddings or family reunions must be pre-approved by the host in advance and prior to booking the home.

7. We share our property and the island with gopher tortoises, which are endangered and protected. Please refrain from touching any gopher tortoises throughout the island. They have the right of way on the streets, so please give them the space they need.

8. Only adult licensed drivers are permitted to operate the golf carts. Driving golf carts on the beach is strictly prohibited. If there is any damage to the golf carts, the renter agrees to fully reimburse the owner for all necessary repairs.

GOLF CART RULES: • Renter is responsible for the cost to repair any damage that occurs to the cart during their stay.
• Drivers must be 16+ with a valid driver’s license • Drive slow and responsibly at all times • Road use only — no beach driving, off-road use, or entry into the State Preserve (this is prohibited by law) • If You Get Stuck do not use the motor to free the cart • Recharge daily and in between uses.
• Avoid standing water - if the motor becomes submerged (rain or tidal water), the renter is responsible for all resulting motor damage • Never drive through saltwater • Drive slowly over potholes and uneven surfaces — carts aren’t designed for rough terrain

Passenger Limits • 4-seater carts: max 4 passengers • 6-seater carts: max 6 passengers

GUEST RELEASE OF LIABLITY

Bicycle and Golf Cart Release of Liability: By renting this vacation home, I understand and accept that using the bicycles and golf carts expose me to many hazards and entail unavoidable risk of death, personal injury (including but not limited to severe spinal or head injury) and loss of or damage to property. I also understand I should be in good physical health to participate in bicycling. I choose to participate in bicycling and using the golf cart in spite of these risks and hereby assume all risk of injury or loss of life to myself and loss of or damage to property. I understand the inherent risk involved in using this equipment; accept full responsibility for any and all such damage or injury which may result.

Swimming Pool Release of Liability: By renting this vacation home pool, I recognize and fully understand that at no time is there a lifeguard on duty. I (the renter) am responsible for the safe operation of the pool and are responsible for all persons using the pool during my stay. I understand that there are risks involved in the use of the pool facilities such as injury or death.

The renter and all other parties on the premises during the stay hereby assume all risk of injury or harm as a result of the activities specified above and agree to release, indemnify, defend, and forever discharge the releasee from all liability, claims, demands, damages, costs, expenses, and causes of action due to death, injury, loss, or damage to the undersigned. You affirm that you HAVE READ THIS GUEST RELEASE AND WAIVER AND FULLY UNDERSTAND THE ASSUMPTION OF RISK, RELEASE, WAIVER, AND CONSENT CONTAINED IN IT. YOU FURTHER UNDERSTAND THAT YOU HAVE GIVEN UP RIGHTS BY AGREEING TO THESE TERMS, AND HAVE DONE SO FREELY AND VOLUNTARILY AND WITHOUT INDUCEMENT.
