Discover the ultimate family getaway at The Happy Bear Lodge, a dreamy log cabin designed to be the perfect home base for your Northern California adventure in Shasta Lake. Whether you are seeking an action-packed trip or a serene escape, this lodge ensures you and your loved ones leave feeling refreshed, fulfilled, and with memories of one of the greatest family vacations you have ever had.
The interior is thoughtfully designed to balance excitement for the kids and relaxation for the adults. This spacious home features 4 bedrooms, 4 beds, and 2 bathrooms, providing ample room for up to 12 guests to spread out. You can unwind by the cozy fire with a good book or soak away the day's adventures in the large 2 person soaking tub. For outdoor fun, follow the little trail around the cabin to the fire pit, the ideal spot for s'mores and storytelling.
While the lodge offers a peaceful retreat, it is located right next door to the Oasis Fun Center. While not part of the property, the owners maintain a great relationship with the center, which features a sauna, a kids play area, and old movies. Guests should be aware that due to this proximity, there is a potential for noise during their hours of operation: Sunday through Thursday from 12 PM to 9 PM, and Friday through Saturday from 12 PM to 10 PM.
Located within driving distance of Mt. Shasta and Mt. Lassen, the lodge puts you in the heart of endless recreational opportunities. Depending on the season, you can enjoy skiing, wakeboarding, fly fishing, hiking, hunting, golfing, or exploring on ATVs. There are numerous rivers and lakes within 20 miles for watersports, as well as several state and national parks to explore.
