Discover the ultimate escape at Zeron’s Island, a luxurious off-grid private island paradise located in Lupton, Michigan. Situated on the stunning 800-acre all-sports Sage Lake—voted the #1 inland lake in Michigan by MLive—this one-of-a-kind retreat offers a bucket-list experience for those seeking serene beauty and absolute seclusion.
The heart of the island is a unique A-frame log cabin that masterfully blends rustic charm with modern luxury. Powered by 32 solar panels for a sustainable stay, the cabin provides a comfortable sanctuary with a backup generator for peace of mind. The interior features warm hardwood look vinyl floors and a cozy log-burning fireplace perfect for chilly evenings. The full-size kitchen is equipped with granite countertops and bar seating for three. For climate control, ductless mini-split AC and heating units serve both the main level and the loft. The layout includes 3 bedrooms, 3 beds, and 2 bathrooms, including a stand-up glass shower and a second full bath with convenient outdoor access.
Outside, guests have exclusive access to the entire 8-acre island. While 10% of the land is a beautifully landscaped oasis, the remaining 90% consists of untouched beauty. Explore the property via a scenic, mile-long private hiking trail that connects the cabin to two breathtaking lookout points. For water enthusiasts, the property provides kayaks, stand-up paddleboards, a paddleboat, and a canoe. On land, enjoy a large green lawn for yard games like cornhole, ladder ball, and QB54 football, or relax by the lakeside fire pit with provided firewood and the outdoor BBQ area.
Located in a welcoming northern Michigan lake town, the area is a summertime paradise known for its relaxed atmosphere and friendly locals. A highlight of the neighborhood is Kenyon’s Resort, a must-visit bar and restaurant on the lake offering live entertainment and highly recommended food specials.
