For a truly unique experience, visit the panoramic window sauna overlooking the lake. The property also boasts a real cool fire pit area and a screened-in gazebo down by the lake where you can watch numerous birds fly in. Guests have access to a dock and a row boat for seasonal use on Tuller Lake, though please note the lake is not suitable for swimming due to its mucky shoreline.

Inside, the home is equipped for a cozy stay with a gas-fired fireplace and a fully equipped kitchen featuring a microwave, coffee maker, toaster, blender, and slow cooker. Modern conveniences include A/C for summer days, ultra fast 5g WI-FI, and a 55’’ Smart TV with Netflix. A washer and dryer are also provided for your convenience.

The Lochen House is ideally located for exploring the region: just 5 minutes from the world-renowned Interlochen Arts Academy, 20 minutes to Traverse City, and 26 miles to Sleeping Bear Dunes National Park. It is also only 3 miles from the Blue Bridge Events Center and a half-mile from the Interlochen Golf Course.

• Pets: Allowed
• Rules: No parties are permitted. Guests are asked to respect neighbors; quiet hours begin at 11:00 PM. No loud music or yelling is allowed inside or outside the building.
• Important Note: The property is located off US 31, and road noise is present. Additionally, US 31 is undergoing construction from spring through fall of 2026. While access remains open, guests should follow detour signs as right turns out of the property may be restricted.
