PROPERTY HOUSE RULES
Dear Guests, Hello and welcome to our home!
We’re so happy you chose our property for your vacation. Before you settle in and get comfortable, we would like to make you aware of the House Rules in place at our vacation rental. Understanding and complying with our house rules will make for a comfortable and fun stay for everybody!
Please carefully read all our house rules below. By making a reservation, you are confirming that you have read all the details of the listing and have agreed to the house rules.
*ALTERATION REQUESTS - Extending your stay - If you are extending your stay (for 1 day or so), please contact us 12-24 hours before your scheduled check-out time so we can process the alteration. Please send us a message through the booking platform messaging app for any request about your booking. The additional payment will need to be paid upfront before the alteration request can be approved. These additional charges will reflect on your booking platform invoice/bill.
*ALTERATION REQUESTS - Reducing the booked nights - Requests to shorten the number of days in a reservation are not permitted and will NOT be granted a refund. Guests will instead be advised to process the cancelation and to re-book the property on their new dates, bearing in mind that the cancellation policy will apply. Please keep in mind that we do not issue booking refunds at any time during the reservation process.
*LATE CHECK-OUTS - We are unable to approve late check-out requests most of the time. Our housekeeping staff is set to arrive shortly after check-out time to clean the unit in preparation for the next booking. Unauthorized Late Check-Outs are subject to a $160 per hour charge.
*LATE CHECK-OUTS - If the host's schedule permits it, an authorized late check-out (1 or 2 hours max) is approved subject to a $150 per hour fee. Please send us a message (24 hours before scheduled check-out) through the booking platform messaging app for any request about your booking.
*LATE CHECK-INS – The check-in window is from 3 PM / 4 PM (Depending on the Hotel) to 11 PM. Late check-ins are permitted in this property but please bear in mind that the Quiet Hours start at 9 PM. Any disturbance triggering a neighboring unit’s complaint or a visit by an authority will require guests to forfeit the remainder of their stay and immediately vacate the property with a ZERO refund.
*PARKING & VEHICLES - A complimentary parking space has been provided for confirmed guests. Please refer to the check-in instructions for the Parking Details of your hotel. Valet Parking is also available at an additional charge.
*NO TAMPERING ALLOWED - You’ll find all the electrical appliances you need for a comfortable stay at our home. Please use them responsibly and ask other members of your party to do the same. In the unlikely case of a power outage, please call us before touching the control panel. You will be held liable for any damages incurred for tinkering or unauthorized switching/checking of the panels/controls.
*NO PARTIES or EVENTS are to take place at the property at any time. Any action, illegal activity, or violation of these terms that will cause direct or indirect damages to the unit, property, reputation, or relationship with neighbors will result in the expulsion of the guests and his or her group from the premises. Guests are responsible for all costs associated with expulsion.
*NO SMOKING - SMOKING (of any kind) is NOT permitted in the unit or on the premises. Violation of this rule, OR any SIGN or SMELL of smoke, OR any complaint from the next guest about a smoke smell will result in the loss of your security deposit. Cigarette monitors are installed in the home and the host will be remotely notified when smoke is present.
*NO DRUGS POLICY - Illegal substances / Drug use is strictly prohibited and is grounds for immediate eviction from the property. This includes the use of marijuana or marijuana derivatives. You, your guests and visitors, agree that any drug use on the Property, or using the Property for any unlawful purpose, or violation of any law or ordinance on or about the Property will immediately terminate your occupancy and be grounds for immediate eviction from the Property. You shall be liable for any and all costs incurred by the Host and a refund will not be provided for the remaining balance of your stay.
*NO PETS POLICY - Pets are NOT allowed on the property at any time. Although we love animals, we request guests to please leave their pets at home during their stay on the property. Reasons are but not limited to the following a) Potential guests that have allergies to pets won’t book the place, b) Pets can leave the place untidy if the owner doesn’t look after their needs, c) Hair everywhere = hours of vacuuming! d) Potential damage to furniture, carpet, and windows, e) Dogs may bark at night which won’t impress the neighbors. f) They can leave a lingering smell that is hard to remove in the time between guests.
*NO UNREGISTERED GUESTS - Guests agree to abide by the maximum occupancy of the unit. Only the specific guests noted in the booking are allowed on the premises. A violation of this Airbnb rule will result in the immediate removal of all guests (and any visitors) from the property without a refund. If there is a disturbance with more than the occupants specified in the listing, a hefty fine per guest will be charged.
*CHILD’S SAFETY - We try to keep our vacation rental as child-friendly as possible. That said, parents always have the final responsibility of ensuring their children’s safety at all times. If you find anything to be unsafe or that requires revision at our property, please contact us at your earliest convenience so we can address the issue. To maintain our property kid-friendly, we ask that you: a) Never leave children unsupervised at our property / near pools (if applicable) without any adults. b) Guests are fully responsible for the safety and security of their children at all times, as well as any disturbance caused to other guests in the hotel premises. d) Please do not use glasses outside or in the children’s play area, or by the pool (if applicable) for safety reasons.
*QUIET HOURS POLICY - Please be respectful of our awesome neighbors by respecting quiet hours from 9:00 pm until 8:00 am (times may differ on some properties, please refer to the OTHER NOTES portion of your booked listing). Any violators will be asked to leave, no exceptions! Any disturbance triggering a neighbor’s complaint or a visit by an authority will require guests to forfeit the remainder of their stay and immediately vacate the property with a ZERO refund.
*POOL USE (If Applicable) - Our guests love using the swimming pool at our vacation rental! It’s a great way to spend summer days while staying at our home. There are a few things we ask you to bear in mind regarding the swimming pool. a) The swimming pool is available only at certain times subject to prior booking with the frontdesk or the security office (Please refer to the Other Notes portion of the Listing Description for updates). b) Please avoid using glass tableware or glass bottles near the pool. You should use the plastic cups available for any poolside drinks. c) Guests must shower before entering the pool to rinse off any sunscreen.
*BALCONY & DECK AREAS (Only If Applicable & Allowed) - Our balcony and deck area is available for you to kick back and relax with your family or friends (Please refer to the Other Notes section of the Listing Description for updates). To keep this space in the best condition for future visitors to our vacation rental, please follow the guidelines as listed below. a) Please do not hang laundry off the balcony railings as it is not permitted by the local authorities. b) If you plan to eat lunch or dinner outside on the deck, please do not use glasses and instead use plastic cups.
*LOST ITEMS - Guests agree to return all keys, remotes, and parking passes to their designated places/lockers. Failure to return items will result in getting them replaced which will incur a REPLACEMENT FEE. Guests agree to pay the replacement costs for any damaged, destroyed, or lost items.
*DAMAGED ITEMS - Guests agree to pay the replacement costs for any damaged or destroyed items. A claim will be filed for any damages made during the reservation. This includes but is not limited to items/ spaces inside and outside the property, to its furnishings, kitchen items, and the like. The charged amount will be filed against the security deposit and will be reported to Airbnb along with the supporting documents. In cases where the charged amount exceeds the security deposit amount, Airbnb will be duly notified of the extent of the damage along with the supporting documents and you will, in turn, be billed accordingly.
*AVOID STAINING SHEETS & TOWELS - Please be respectful of our bedsheets and towels. Makeup/foundation, face medications/creams, and tanning products will stain and/or bleach linens/towels. Please avoid using our regular hand/bath towels when removing your skin/face make-ups. Please use our readily provided gray make-up washcloths. If linens, washcloths, towels, and blankets are deemed unusable by housekeeping you will be charged - $30 for each damaged towel and $50 for each damaged sheet. Moreover, guests will compensate the host for any food/drink or any other stains in the bedroom.
*GARBAGE DISPOSAL - We ask guests to kindly dispose of food in the available trash can. Garbage disposal is for small food remnants only. If the disposal is damaged, or clogged by guests, we will charge the guest for the plumber's time to unclog/install new garbage disposal (if required). All items in the kitchen including silverware, pots/pans, spices, flatware, etc. have been counted, and any item removed from the premises will be charged to the guest.
*GARBAGE COLLECTION - We like to do our bit for the environment and we ask that our guests do the same! Please dispose of your garbage properly in the proper containers. We have provided trash cans inside and larger trash bins locations are stated in the check-in instructions. Please do not flush any sanitary products down the toilet. We have provided a bin for this in each bathroom.
*ADDITIONAL CLEANING - If additional clean-up is required, at the sole discretion of the host, an additional cleaning fee, commensurate with the amount of work that will be required by the cleaners to prepare the property for the next guests, can be charged to the guest. Please make sure you follow the check-out instructions given to you before you leave the premises.
*TIMELY FEEDBACK - We value your feedback. Be sure to report any cleanliness issues, property damages, and/or breakages in a reasonably timely manner, especially before check-out. We encourage guests to send us pictures so we can confer with the proper channel about these matters. Please do not move any furniture from one room to another without agreeing to it with us first.
*VIOLATIONS - Should you violate any of the above rules, and this will trigger a complaint/refund/discount/cancellation request from the next checking-in guest, you will be held responsible for any loss of income as a result of your violation.
*COMPLIANCE & AGREEMENT -We’ve set out these house rules so that every guest visiting our property has a safe, secure, and most importantly, fun stay at our place. Compliance with these rules is essential for every member of the traveling party. We hope you have a great time and find everything you need at our home. a) Breach of any of these house rules is a breach of the terms and conditions of occupancy, as per the rental agreement indicated when you booked this property. b) We reserve the right to evict any guests or visitors from the property who refuse to follow these house rules. c) Guests accept complete responsibility for the unit from check-in until check-out. The main booking guest is the one responsible for the actions of all members of his or her group. d) Please treat our house with the same respect as you would your own home. We’ve put a lot of effort into making this into a lovely space to be enjoyed by our guests. e) In any case, please use common sense while staying in our house. If you’re unsure about any of the house rules and require further clarification, please send us a message or give us a call.
*PROOF OF AGE - Guests may be asked to provide a date of birth as proof of age. The Traveler or the main booking guest must be at least 21 years of age to make a reservation.
*Guests may be asked to agree to and sign a rental agreement.
*Lastly! And the most important rule of all: HAVE FUN AND ENJOY YOUR STAY!!!
