About Property

Experience the ultimate mountain escape at The Albatross Estate & Golf Links, a one-of-a-kind luxury retreat nestled in the heart of North Carolina’s Blue Ridge Mountains. Spanning 14,000 square feet across 10 secluded acres, this upscale estate is a private sanctuary designed for life's most cherished moments, from milestone celebrations and golf getaways to intimate weddings.

The residence is expertly configured for large groups, featuring 9 bedrooms and 10 bathrooms. The sleeping arrangements are thoughtfully distributed across three levels: the upper floor hosts a luxurious master sanctuary with a private balcony and beauty station, alongside additional king bedrooms and a conjoined two-bedroom in-law suite with queen beds. The main level provides a large bedroom with an en suite bath, while the bottom level serves as a haven of fun with three bedrooms and three full bathrooms.

Every detail of the interior blends elegance with comfort. Guests can enjoy a chef’s kitchen, a sunroom overlooking the pool, and a formal dining room with floor-to-ceiling windows. For entertainment, the home offers a moody bourbon room, a billiards room, and a whimsical kids’ club featuring a rock wall.

Outdoor living is truly elevated here. The vast deck includes a custom sunken wood-burning fire pit, two sunken hot tubs, and a stargazing dome. The backyard features a peaceful swimming pool with a grilling station, a shaded kids’ playground, and a unique turfed lounge zone.

As a private resort, the property boasts a custom 9-hole turf short course and a professional pickleball and basketball court. The 3,000 sq. ft. entertainment barn is a centerpiece of the estate, housing a golf simulator, micro bowling alley, 20-person private movie theater, and various arcade games like skeeball and shuffleboard.

Located in Fletcher, the estate is just 17 miles from Asheville and 15 miles from the iconic Biltmore Estate. Guests are minutes away from the stunning Sierra Nevada Brewing Co. and local favorites like Blue Sky Cafe and Arabella Breakfast & Brunch.
