About Property

Welcome to one of Pamela’s Premier Properties! Discover the magic of The Hawthorne, a 125-year-old stone mansion that stands as the crown jewel of the Englewood Arts District in Independence, Missouri. Set proudly on nearly two beautiful acres, this historical charmer offers a unique blend of old-world character—complete with the delightful creaks of original floors—and beautiful furnishings designed for the whole family to comfortably spread out.

This expansive three-story estate is meticulously configured with 9 bedrooms and 10 bathrooms (7 full and 3 half), accommodating up to 16 guests. Because the home previously served as a bed-and-breakfast, most bedrooms are en suite and feature their own individual HVAC systems, allowing every guest to control their own temperature for maximum comfort.

Designed for entertainment and family bonding, the property is packed with unique features. The game room garage is a paradise of activity, featuring a pop-a-shot, ping pong table, shuffleboard, an exercise bike, darts, and a multicade video game system with 60 popular titles. Inside, you will find a billiards room with a fun CD jukebox for dance parties, a baby grand piano, and a whimsical bee-themed tea room. For those needing a quiet retreat, there is a newer addition apartment featuring a dedicated office workspace. Families with little ones will appreciate the provided high chair, pack and play, crib, and mini bedside crib.

The heart of the home is a massive commercial kitchen, fully stocked and boasting three dishwashers and a commercial sink. Outside, the beauty of the acreage is complemented by a kids' play set, a splash pad area, and a 5-hole putting green.

Located in a cute older neighborhood, you are perfectly positioned near the Chiefs and Royals stadiums, Worlds of Fun, and the Truman Presidential Library. Explore the nearby Englewood Arts District, dine at the amazing Vivilore restaurant, or visit the Independence town square, located just two miles away, for a variety of neat shops and eateries.
