About Property

Escape to Rossini's Cottage, a beautiful freestone 1-bedroom retreat in Crafers West, South Australia, where scenic serenity meets the picturesque charm of the Adelaide Hills. Once the home to a charming apple orchard, this enchanting cottage is designed for romantic getaways, wine weekends, or any unforgettable escape, offering breathtaking views of the undulating valley from every room. Guests may even spot wedgetail eagles soaring above or kangaroos roaming the backyard.

The layout is thoughtfully designed to blend authenticity with contemporary quality. The restful bedroom features a stunning king size bed, original floorboards, a timber open wardrobe, and timber blinds for complete privacy. The bathroom continues the stone theme with a stone floored shower and a modern shaker style vanity. For relaxation, the gorgeous lounge retains original floorboards and is appointed with a plush couch, a smart TV, Scandi timbers, and a recently installed combustion fireplace for cozy, crackling evenings.

The country style kitchen is a masterful mix of vintage charm and Hamptons style cabinetry, utilizing the original brick chimney, a cast iron stove, and exposed freestone walls. A farmhouse-feel dining area includes a timber table for four and a jute rug. A separate laundry conveniently houses the fridge, microwave, and coffee machine.

Outdoor living is a highlight of the property. The gorgeous front verandah is ideal for morning coffee, while the garden features a sunken area with a firepit, a timber dining setting with an umbrella, and a barbecue area nestled among apple trees and grape vines. For ultimate rejuvenation, a cedar Japanese infra-red sauna adjoining the cottage accommodates up to three people, complemented by an outdoor shower.
