Discover the charm of North Yorkshire at The Carriage House, a beautiful studio set within a stunning converted barn in the peaceful village of Bilbrough. Originally a 200-year-old carriage house, this space has been renovated to an extremely high standard, featuring striking vaulted ceilings and exposed beams that honor its historic character.
The studio is located on the second floor, accessed via a communal staircase. Sleeping arrangements include one king-sized bed and a sofa bed, providing a comfortable guest capacity of up to four people. The property features one bathroom to serve guests.
While the studio focuses on serene living, guests have access to a unique Relaxation And Wellness Space (RAWS). This area includes an Aspen 5/6 seater hot tub, a lounging area with a fire pit, and a dining area—all sheltered under wooden gazebos. The facility also offers a sun terrace, a yoga studio, a fully fitted kitchen, and a spacious decking area. Please note that the RAWS and hot tub are available for an additional fee and must be booked separately.
Located in the beautiful open countryside, the village of Bilbrough is a quiet sanctuary with very little traffic, making it a safe environment for children and featuring a lovely local playground. Nature lovers can explore four public footpaths and various countryside walks right from the doorstep. The location is exceptionally convenient for those visiting York, situated just 6 miles from the city center and a six-minute drive to the Askham Bar Park & Ride. It is also ideally positioned for York Races and several nearby wedding venues, including The Normans, Woolas Barn, and Hornington Manor.
