About Property

Discover a peaceful getaway at Rose Lodge, a lovingly converted retreat situated in a rural position with outstanding views across the Somerset Levels in Langport, United Kingdom. This unique escape, featuring cedar cladding and double glazing, is set within the owners' grounds near the village of Aller and the artisan town of Langport, offering a serene sanctuary for those looking to explore the beautiful English countryside.

This cozy lodge is designed for comfort and relaxation, offering a layout with 2 bedrooms, 2 beds, and 1 bathroom, accommodating up to 4 guests. Guests should note that the interior is fresh and modern, though the original ceiling is low and the interior doors are narrow. Outdoor living is a highlight of the property. Guests have exclusive use of a private garden with a patio and seating area, along with a gas BBQ. The standout feature is the inviting, eco-friendly hot tub, heated by renewable energy through solar panels and a bio-mass boiler. Brand new as of 2021 and highly ergonomic, the tub features easy-to-use temperature, jet, and light controls, as well as integrated Bluetooth speakers for a truly relaxing experience with a stunning 180-degree view of the landscape.

Location and neighborhood opportunities are abundant. Step directly from the door onto rural footpaths for lovely country walks, or enjoy nearby fishing, golf, and quaint village pubs. The Somerset Levels' nature reserves and wildlife are on your doorstep. Local exploration includes historic sites like Muchelney Abbey, Forde Abbey, and Montacute House. For shopping and culture, visit Clarks Village, the enchanting tor and abbey in Glastonbury, or the cathedral city of Wells. Langport itself offers a friendly atmosphere with wonderful artisan bakeries, local butchers, and cozy cafes.
