About Property

Discover the charm of Shore Acres Lodge, a historic lakefront cabin retreat perfectly designed for family reunions, corporate retreats, and group getaways in Big Bear Lake, California. Nestled across two pine-shaded acres, this unique destination allows your group to experience relaxation and comfort under soaring pine trees and millions of stars.

This expansive retreat consists of a cluster of six individual mountain cottages, providing a rare balance of collective gathering and private sanctuary. The configuration includes 10 bedrooms and 10 beds across 9 bathrooms, accommodating up to 16 guests per the primary records, though the cluster is designed to handle much larger groups. Each cabin offers updated comforts following extensive renovations completed in fall 2023, while preserving the rustic mountain character of the property, originally known as Potters Camp in the early 1900s.

Outdoor living is central to the Shore Acres experience. Guests enjoy direct lake access and beautiful lake views from private decks. The grounds feature a wide array of recreational opportunities, including a volleyball pit, outdoor table tennis, horseshoes, and a kids swing set. For lake enthusiasts, there is a fishing area and a seasonal shared boat dock. During the summer, guests can cool off in the community swimming pool, available on select weekends from Memorial Day through Labor Day. Group meals are made easy with a large outdoor BBQ and picnic area, as well as a provided charcoal BBQ.

Located in an exceptional position, the lodge is within a short stroll to the Village and local marinas, making it an ideal home base for shopping, dining, and year-round mountain recreation.
