About Property

Experience a cool and carefree escape at 'Carefree', a stunning lakefront retreat nestled in the heart of Sandbridge, Virginia Beach. This unique home offers a rare blend of lakeside tranquility and beachside convenience, providing a serene sanctuary where you can fish, observe abundant local wildlife, and relax in total comfort.

Designed for spacious living, the home features two levels of living space with five roomy bedrooms, each equipped with custom closets and wall-mounted flatscreen TVs. The sleeping arrangements are thoughtfully laid out to ensure privacy and comfort; three of the bedrooms feature their own private bathrooms, while the upper floor also includes a newly renovated full hallway bathroom. The primary suite is located on the upper level, while a spiral staircase—complete with a locking gate for children's safety—leads to the lower floor where two additional bedrooms with private bathrooms are located.

On the upper floor, the living room serves as a hub for relaxation with great lake views and a large-screen TV, flowing seamlessly into the dining area and kitchen. The expansive dining table is perfect for memorable family dinners, complemented by additional seating for four at the kitchen counter. For evening entertainment, step out onto the screened-in porch, which is fully enclosed (including the bottom) to keep unwanted guests away, and features ceiling fans and a flatscreen TV.

Outdoor living is where this property truly shines. Guests can enjoy a gas grill for cookouts, a volleyball net in the yard, or a peaceful moment in the hammock by the water. For those seeking adventure, two canoes are provided for paddling across the lake. The shaded area beneath the house is an inviting lounge space with comfortable seating, two single swings, and a double-seated swing. To rinse off after a day at the beach, two outdoor showers with both hot and cold water are available.

Located just a short stroll from the most private section of Sandbridge Beach—a local secret and a fantastic break for surfing—this home places you in the ideal position to enjoy nature's beauty.
