RENTAL RULES

• Chalet Village is located in a WILD FIRE prone area. Please be FIRE WISE and be careful when using the grill and firepit. Familiarize yourself with the current fire conditions in the area during your visit. You can find more information at .gatlinburgtn .gov/page/firewise. * •NO PETS: If pets are identified in the cabin, the renter will be assessed a $500 fee. •SMOKING: Smoking is NOT allowed. Guest agrees to pay an additional cleaning fee of $500 if Guest or any member of Guest’s party smokes inside the cabin. • People other than those in the Guest party set forth above may not stay overnight in the property. • AGE REQUIREMENT: The renter of the property must be 25 years of age or older. • OCCUPANCY AND USE: Occupancy and use of premises shall not be such as to disturb or offend neighbors or residents. Cabin occupancy is determined by the number of guest over the age of 2 years old. Children, teenagers, and young adults MUST be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian. • FRATERNITIES AND SORORITIES: Under no circumstances will Fraternities and Sororities be allowed in the lodge. • RATES AND MINIMUM STAYS: We have a three-night minimum stay on all reservations. Some exceptions may apply. • PARKING: Parking is limited to 3 vehicle(s). Campers are not allowed to be parked at the chalet. • WATER/SEPTIC: The property is on a well and septic systems. PLEASE DO NOT FLUSH anything other than toilet paper. • STORMS/WEATHER: No refunds will be given for storms/inclement weather. Mountain roads can be curvy and steep. The roads and driveways leading to the property are all paved and well maintained; however, we highly recommend four wheel drive and/or chains during the snow months. We do not refund due to road conditions. Please consider purchasing trip insurance (traveler insurance) if you are concerned about bad weather affecting your vacation. • ILLEGAL ACTIVITIES: Guest shall not perform any illegal activity while residing in the property. Guest shall not manufacture, use or abuse any illegal drugs while residing in the property. No smoking or vaping of any type in the property is allowed. An automatic $500 fee will be billed for deep cleaning if this rule is violated. • HOUSE PARTIES: are strictly prohibited. Any loud party, rowdy, loud or disruptive behavior/activities are strictly forbidden. • COMMUNICATION: It is a crime to obtain this rental property under false pretenses. Communication about a reservation, even after departure, must only be with the guest named on the reservation. • DAMAGE/THEFT: Guest(s) agrees to leave the premises in a clean, undamaged condition. Guest accepts full responsibility for all damages caused by any member of the party staying in or visiting the reserved lodge. • USAGE: In cases of accommodations with pools, jacuzzi tubs and/or hot tubs, decks, observation decks, gas and charcoal grills, etc. the Guest agrees to use such at their own risk and to hold the Owner harmless from liability. • POOL USAGE: Resort community pools are to be used by registered guests only. Children age 3 and under MUST wear approved swimming diapers when swimming in the pool. NO smoking in the pool area. All children under the age of 18 MUST be accompanied and supervised by an adult when in the pool area; NO exceptions. • CABIN SUPPLIES: Linens, towels, as well as kitchenware and utensils. • WEAPONS AND DRUGS: PROHIBITED on the premises. If a weapon is found on the property, there will be a $500 violation of house rule fee and the weapons will be handed to the local authorities. • MALFUNCTIONS: We do not guarantee that utilities, appliances or amenities will not fail; but we will do our best to repair them as soon as possible. • NO REFUNDS due to any failures or any malfunctions. NO REFUNDS or reduction in rent • Check-in begins after lodge inspection is completed, no earlier than 4:00 p.m. local time. We will check guests in as soon as the cabin is ready. We cannot guarantee early check-in or late check-out requests. • Bears: Guest shall not leave any food or garbage outside the property, except within the special Bear-Proof trash receptacles located in front of the cabin. Bears do roam Chalet Village at night and will cause a HUGE MESS if any trash is left outside without securing it within the proper receptacle. Guest is responsible for cleaning up any mess that results from improperly stored trash. Guest will not purposefully place food outside to attract bears. This is not only dangerous and foolish, but also a violation of Tennessee State Law and will result in immediate eviction without refund. • Check Out Procedure: Check-Out Time is 10 am Please make sure that all trash is out in the outside trash bin no later than 9 am Make sure all towels are left in the bathtub. Dispose of all food from fridge and cabinets All dirty dishes are placed in the dishwasher and the dishwasher has been started Thermostat is set at 60 degrees in the WINTER and 80 degrees in the SUMMER.
