Discover the ultimate sustainable getaway at The Hemlock Treehouse, a nature-first sanctuary in Gatlinburg, Tennessee. Built and designed by Pete Nelson from "Treehouse Masters," this eco-escape is a passion project that allows you to rejuvenate where the forest meets luxury, all while swaying and growing with the trees.

This unique 350 sq. ft. retreat is designed with a rustic cabin feel and a cozy home-like layout. The property features 2 bedrooms and 1 bathroom, comfortably accommodating up to 4 guests. On the main floor, you will find a queen bed, a living space brightened by plenty of windows, and a full bathroom featuring a rainfall shower. For additional sleeping, a second cozy queen bed is located in the loft, accessible via a sturdy wooden ladder (the main-floor bed is recommended for those with mobility concerns). Both the main floor and the loft are equipped with year-round air-conditioning and heating to ensure comfort in every season.

While the property adheres to a sustainable philosophy, you will enjoy modern conveniences including a 43" TCL TV with streaming capabilities. The quaint kitchenette is fully stocked with essentials: a GE mini-fridge, microwave, stylish toaster oven, and a Mr. Coffee pot, along with all necessary dishware, cutlery, and cooking utensils.

Step outside to breathe the fresh mountain air from your choice of a small, covered porch with bug-resistant screen walls or a private open-air porch. Both spaces offer various seating options and provide direct access to the banks of Norton Creek, a premier spot for fly fishing. While private deck firepits are no longer permitted due to Sevier County Fire laws, guests have access to shared resort perks including charcoal firepits, swings, picnic tables, and grills.

Nestled within the gated Norton Creek Resort, you are perfectly situated just 5 minutes from the entrance of The Great Smoky Mountains National Park and less than 5 miles from the Parkway. The area is accessible via paved roads with parking located just steps from your door. Taxi and rideshare services are available, and downtown Gatlinburg offers trolley service.
