--- The tenant is responsible for the rented chalet and its contents. They also assume full responsibility for those accompanying them and who were counted when booking. NO additional guests are allowed (even if they are just passing through), unless there is a prior written agreement with the landlord (fees apply). Also, no parties and no outdoor music are tolerated. It is very important to preserve the tranquility of the area. The tenant therefore undertakes not to disturb other neighboring residents in their normal enjoyment of the premises.
--- The landlord does not assume any liability for damage, loss or theft in respect of the personal effects of the tenant and their guests. No delivery by mail of found items. They will be kept for a maximum of 2 weeks for claims. If there is a claim within this period, an agreement will be possible to return to pick up the item(s) at a later date (maximum 6 months).
--- Guests may make a fire in the wood stove of the chalet. Note that the ancestral fireplace is condemned and only the cast iron one is used. Guests may make a fire on the grounds only in the outdoor fireplace at the location provided for this purpose. (An included quantity of wood is defined on site in the cottage guide.)
--- Propane barbecue included in the rental from April 1st to November 1st.
--- It is strictly forbidden to set off fireworks. A fee of $300 will be added automatically if this rule is not respected.
--- CAMPING: It is not permitted to install a tent, tent-trailer, trailer, RV, food truck, marquee, inflatable game or any other item of these categories on the grounds of the chalet.
--- Feeding ducks is prohibited for their protection and that of the environment.
--- No frying is allowed in the cottage.
--- It is forbidden to use fondue pots or other pots with candles or burners with liquid or gel fondue fuel. Two electric fondue pans are included in the cottage, with electrical extensions.
--- Bath towels may not be used outside the cottage. You must only use your personal beach towels.
--- No smoking indoors since the rented chalet is officially a "non-smoking" property. Outside, no problem! A fee of $300 will be added automatically if this rule is not respected.
--- The tenant must allow the owner access to the premises at all times for the purposes of carrying out urgent work necessary for the maintenance of the leased premises and their equipment. Also, for exterior maintenance (e.g. lawn mowing, snow removal, spa maintenance).
--- If the tenant and their group of visitors, for whom they are responsible, are mostly between 17 and 25 years old (to target especially groups of friends wanting to have a "party"), the landlord reserves the right to make visits to the cottage without warning, of course by ringing the doorbell, to check the premises and the number of people present. It may be that no visit is made, like the majority of stays, depending on good communication with the tenant.
--- Guidelines and requirements for the HOT TUB:
- Take a shower to remove any moisturizer, oil or sunscreen before entering the hot tub.
- Tie up long hair.
- DO NOT POUR ANY PRODUCTS into the hot tub, even if designed for the hot tub.
- Make sure the hot tub is not a pool for children. Overuse of the spa will not maintain clear water. NO toys, even floating ones, are allowed in the hot tub. They should not touch the hot tub control controls themselves. (Deprogramming will render the hot tub non-functional for the stay.)
- Drinks must be in CANS and PLASTIC CUPS only. NO food,
NO glassware, paper, bottle caps, etc., in the hot tub or on the edges of the hot tub.
(A fee of $100 will be charged if there is any trace of these materials or a fee of $250 will be withheld if we have to empty and refill the hot tub due to instructions not being followed.)
-Maximum 5 people in the hot tub.
***Domaine Île & Passions (and its representatives) will not be liable for a service interruption that renders the hot tub unusable for an indefinite period due to non-compliance with these rules. Additional fees may apply. The penalty is set as the case may be, at the landlord's sole discretion.
--- Doors and windows must be locked when the chalet is unattended and on departure, at the end of the stay.
--- The furniture and objects in the rented building must be used for the purpose for which they are intended and in the places where they are located. Taking them out of the chalet is forbidden.
--- Domaine Île & Passions (and its representatives) disclaim any liability for the use of watercraft, the outdoor playground and any other accessory made available to the tenant and those accompanying them, therefore at the user's risk.
--- The landlord must be notified as soon as the tenant becomes aware of a defect and/or breakdown of equipment or furniture in the building. Any misuse not attributable to normal wear and tear of the building or its property causing stains, breakage or defects will be repaired or replaced entirely at the expense of the tenant.
--- Household waste must be placed in the black bin outside the chalet. A green recycling bin is also there. Note, the landlord will show up every Sunday at the end of the day to pick up the bins and allow the city to collect on Monday.
--- Upon departure, leave the premises, chalet, land, furniture and accessories in the same condition as on arrival and in their initial location. A surcharge will be added to the tenant's fee if the landlord finds that the state of cleanliness of the chalet is considered unsatisfactory. The fee amount will be decided by the owner based on the situation and condition of the cottage.
--- PETS NOT ALLOWED:
If this rule is not respected:
your pet will have to leave the property immediately, and this, without refund of your stay if you have to leave as well.
Or if we find that there has been an animal present after your departure, a fee of $175 will be charged and other fees may be added depending on the condition of the premises.
