About Property

Discover the ultimate Smoky Mountain getaway at Barbie's Destiny Chalet, a spectacular four-level retreat in the heart of Gatlinburg. Famously known locally as Barbie's Dream House, this unique property offers a style all its own, blending opulence with a scale that makes it feel more like a private small resort than a traditional cabin. With 3,800 square feet of living space and panoramic mountain views from nearly every room, this is where luxury meets the beauty of Tennessee.

Designed for comfort and scale, the chalet features 3 bedrooms with 3 king beds and 4 bathrooms, comfortably accommodating up to 10 guests. The sleeping arrangements are thoughtfully distributed across the levels: the upper floor hosts a primary suite with a king bed, a private kitchenette, and its own small patio for sunrise coffee. The lower level contains two additional king suites, each serving as a private sanctuary with its own gas fireplace and jetted tub. For extra guests, the main level living area includes 2 sleeper sofas.

The home is defined by its lavish features, including four total fireplaces and multiple vantage points over the Smokies, including a top-floor loft. The main level is an entertainment hub featuring a games room with a pool table and wet bar, a separate private lounge for quiet reading, and a spacious kitchen with granite countertops and a center-island that seats 10. Outdoor living is emphasized on the covered patio, where you can relax in the hot tub and watch the ski lift pass overhead.

Located under 0.5 miles from the Ober Gatlinburg Ski & Amusement Centre, the chalet is perfectly positioned for adventure. Guests are minutes away from Pigeon Forge, Dollywood, The Island, and Anakeesta. As a guest, you enjoy exclusive access to the Chalet Village Owner's Club, providing seasonal use of three clubhouses, pools, and tennis courts from May through September.
