Minimum age to rent is 25.

NO PARTIES OR EVENTS. We have a Ring security camera on-site and are able to see if people outside your group come to the house. This will result in an IMMEDIATE cancellation of your reservation with NO refund. Even if a party causes no damage, guests will be charged $300 in the event of any parties.

QUIET TIME: Between 10pm - 7am There is a noise level city ordinance and so the noise level MUST BE MINIMAL after 10PM. To ensure this, the property includes a noise alert monitoring system. Tampering with the device is strictly prohibited and will result in a $500 fine. Violation of the noise/party rule will result in the police being called, termination of your reservation, and a $250 fine. In addition, guests may also be responsible for fines issued by the city for such noise violations. Please respect the peace of the community!

GUESTS: Only guests on the reservation are permitted on the property unless you request and receive written permission. That includes day guests and overnight guests. There is a $300 fine if discovered you have brought other guests that exceeds the rental agreement.

Maximum Guest Occupancy - 8

DOG POLICY: We love dogs and have our own little mini dachshund ourselves! There is an extra $175 fee for guests with dogs with a maximum of 2 dogs. These fees do not include any damages, additional fees will be charged for any damages. Additionally,

• Dogs are not allowed on furniture
• Dogs are not to be left alone at any time to avoid accidents or damage
• Dog waste must be picked up and disposed of in the outdoor trash bin

Also, this is the forest so please be aware that there are bears and critters in the area, so please make sure to keep your dogs safe.

SUPPLIES: We provide a starter supply of essentials, including toilet paper, paper towels, trash bags, laundry detergent, coffee, and more, to help our guests settle in comfortably during the first few days. Once these supplies run out, guests are responsible for restocking as needed.

TOILETS: Please only flush toilet paper and NOTHING else. If the toilet clogs during your stay, a fee will be assessed to have a plumber come and make repairs.

WEATHER: Please know we will do everything possible to assist, however we have no control over weather events, power outages or county road plowing. We are an individual cabin owner and we do not provide towing, snow plowing, or snow removal services. No refunds will be given due to weather conditions, late arrivals, early departures, guest’s fear of driving in the mountains, or power outages. If you feel you may have winter travel concerns, we suggest purchasing Cancellation Insurance through an independent provider at the time of booking for added peace of mind.

HOT TUB: No Lifeguard on duty. GUESTS SWIM AT THEIR OWN RISK. No jumping or diving and no glass allowed. Adult supervision is required for children. No dogs allowed in the pool/hot tub. Keep hot tub covered when not in use.

SAUNA: GUESTS USE AT THEIR OWN RISK. Keep door closed when not in use. Doors left opened will risk glass to break, resulting in $1000 for damage.

PENALTIES FOR THE FOLLOWING. Held against the security deposit and claim will be filed with AirBnB. **Lost Clubhouse guest pass: $100 **Smoking in the home: $250 **Late Checkout Past 10am without our consent: $75 fee every 30 min **Excessive Cleaning if the place is left filthy, rug stains, dog urine, and/or trash everywhere: $150 **Pet Hair on furniture and sheets: $75

The owners are not responsible for any accidents, injuries or illness that occurs while on the premises or its facilities. The Homeowners are not responsible for the loss of personal belongings or valuables of the guest. By accepting this reservation, it is agreed that all guests are expressly assuming the risk of any harm arising from their use of the premises or others whom they invite to use the premises and are recommended to buy their own travelers insurance to cover their personal items and if any trip issues arise.

Guest also understand that this Release & Waiver of Liability irrevocably and unconditionally releases and holds harmless all releasees from any financial or other liability for any injury, bodily harm, sickness, illness, or loss of life that you as a Guest or family member, pet, or friend may suffer and from any economic harm or loss of property occurring during, caused by, relating to, or arising in any way out of staying at Sugar Chalet.
