My number one goal is to make your stay as comfortable and peaceful as possible. In order to accomplish this, I simply ask that all guests follow these house rules. Thank you in advance and I truly appreciate your cooperation! If you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to message me!

• No more than 15 guests ( including children) without permission before booking. There may be an additional 80.00 a night fee per person and 40.00 per person added to the cleaning fee. No extra day guests without permission (over the 15). Bringing any extra guests that have not been approved of or paid for could result in an IMMEDIATE EVICTION.

• If guests are found to have had a party without host permission which results in extra cleaning, guests will be responsible for extra cleaning charges and in the unfortunate event of the disruptions alerting neighbors, GUESTS WILL BE ASKED TO VACATE THE PROPERTY IMMEDIATELY.

• If guests are suspected of carrying and/or using illegal drugs of any kind, the authorities will be engaged, and GUESTS WILL BE ASKED TO VACATE THE PROPERTY IMMEDIATELY.

• Security Deposit If there is damage to the house, you may be charged for the damages. If there is extra cleaning that needs to be done, you may be charged extra for the cleaning.

• No smoking on the property

• No cancellations due to weather or park closures. Please purchase travel insurance such as CFAR (Cancel For Any Reason).

• Child Safety Requirements: For guests who have children, if you choose to book, by booking, you are agreeing to our requirements. Please review listing pictures. If parents decide it is a good fit and decide to book, parents must follow these rules:

a. Small children are to be supervised on the indoor main staircase and spiral staircase.

b. Children are to be supervised on the deck at all times, and if the child, or children, are very young, children need to be in their parent's arms.

c. No climbing on railings or on outdoor furniture.

• Guest Safety All guests are responsible for their own safety. This home is located in mountainous terrain. Because this is a mountainous area, there are many possible hazards and wildlife, like poison oak, snakes, bears, uneven terrain, rocks, trees, etc. All guests are responsible for their own safety.

• No shoes inside the house

• Quiet hours MUST BE OBSERVED between 10PM – 7AM. Voices carry so please be respectful of others.

• No bright outdoor lights after 10pm out of consideration of our neighbors and stargazers. We do have a dim outdoor light that can be used.

• Please do not rearrange the furniture.

• You are welcome to use the fridge and pantry to store any food or other consumables. Please throw away any perishable items before the end of your stay.

a. Also, please acknowledge that the fridge and pantry may contain food or consumables that guests are welcome to eat. However, it is the guests’ responsibility to inspect these items before consuming and the host is not responsible for any illness or adverse response that might occur.

• Please load and start the dishwasher before leaving.

• For any early check-in or late checkout please let us know first to see if we can accommodate.

• As already listed under Guest Safety/ Security on our listing, we do have security cameras on the front door and driveway. Any tampering will result in immediate eviction, additional fees, and no refund.

Kayak use is optional and requires a signed waiver. Life jackets must be worn at all times. Use at your own risk.

Event Policy for The Grande

We allow small, intimate gatherings such as family reunions or special occasions at The Grande. However, large events, parties, and any gatherings that exceed the guest limit of 15 are not permitted. All events must be pre-approved, and an additional event fee may apply. Guests are required to follow all house rules, including quiet hours from 10 PM to 7 AM, and ensure that any vendors (such as caterers) respect the property. Unauthorized events or excessive noise may result in immediate termination of the stay without a refund.

Lastly, because this is an Airbnb community not a hotel, and is also my home. Please be respectful of the property and keep it clean before you leave.
