Bugs: Welcome to the smoky mountains, where no amount of “pest control” will ever control all the “pests” making their way into our cabin. We have monthly pest control, but there are some critters that manage to make their way inside. This is especially true during the beetle season (they are small like ladybugs). They will come inside in droves, through any nook and cranny they can find. They are harmless, but we can vacuum thoroughly one day, and by the next morning, there may be hundreds inside. They tend to congregate near windows. Also, tennessee does have small scorpions (don’t worry, they aren’t venomous). They tend to gather near water sources/drains. And of course, there are occasionally stink bugs that make their way inside. Refund policy: Please note that due to the nature of the environment, we do not offer refunds for any issues related to these bugs.
